I made them per the recipe, froze them, cut them, stored them in the fridge. I went to grab one tonight and they are mushy! What did I do wrong?

Mine didnt go mushy in the fridge, did you add more water? Its really thick when you mix it, or maybe its the protein powder you used?0

YUM! I have a nasty protien powder kicking around that I've been meaning to do something with so I don't have to consume it as a shake, this is a fantastic idea!!!0

These are really good and only 2 grams of sugar in the ones I made. Awesome recipe. TY0

I think I will make some of these. Having a hard time sometimes getting enough calories for the day. This would be a nice healthy snack after I work out and give me a calorie boost! Thanks!0

Just made some without flaxseed and they are awesome! I tried (and failed) to incorporate just oatmeal and protein powder before I saw this recipe. This will be a perfect snack pre-workout.0

Just made these today, cut them into 16 pieces, they are about the size of a store bought protein bar with the following amount of cals, etc:
Calories Carbs Chol Protein Sodium Fiber
124 9 11 10 39 2
They taste pretty darned good, I used Fortress Chocolate flavored whey powder.
BTW, why not store them in the freezer? They stay nice and firm in there, and you don't have to worry about the kids eating them all0 -
Bump for later0
