Woman are sooooo much tougher on ourselves and so critical of our bodies...stinks!
I think *most* men would be happy as pie if we were to dress up in something sexy for them...they don't care about a little fat here, roll there...LOL

We were out shopping and I was looking at a trench coat...and my hubby immediately wiggled his eyebrows and said "Gonna go naked underneath???"

I mean.........sheesh!!! Forget about the expensive stuff. Wear a coat or bathrobe or better yet.........a football jersey or mans button up shirt........with nothing else.........and that is ALL you need!! :laugh:

Women sometimes get themselves so used to hiding behind loose fitting clothing because of weight problems, they forget what it feels like to wear something flashy and attractive.

Wearing revealing clothing starts in your head.

Step 1 --Go shopping - find things that are attractive and that YOU feel flatter you - add all the extras - the shoes, hair ties, perfume, makeup. Do NOT take your man. Men feel the less you have on, the more attractive you are, which at this point is the exact OPPOSITE of how you feel. This will be counterproductive to the mission.

Step 2 -- Wear these things around your house - alone if you can - to 'test drive' them. You'll get used to how they feel, and how they look.

Step 3 - Test drive them for real. Reveal some nice outfits to your man. Trust me, he's going to appreciate anything you put on!!

Thanks for the advice. We have a two year old daughter so I wouldn't be able to just walk around the house like that. We got married, I got pregnant one month later, 9 months of leave me alone because i'm pregnant, then c-section and a couple more months of we can't do anything until I heal, then the new parents syndrome where we are pissy at each other over things like whether the banana is ripe or not. We are just NOW getting to the point where our sex life is booming and I love it and I don't want it to be boring for him so I want to make him happy and do these things for him but then I struggle with myself. I should just STFU and do it and see how I feel without assuming I will feel bad, right?

I sound like an idiot, I know. I'm sorry. But I really don't have anyone else to talk to about this stuff. My husband was my first and my very first time was our wedding night so I don't have that much experience and basically don't know what the hell to do and what not to do - aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah! :blushing:

He's just going to love what you are wearing - because YOU are wearing it! Walking is fine. When you get comfortable with you wearing new things, then add in a cute little walk. No big deal.

1. the goodies NEVER stay on long
2. if he rips em off with his teeth it won't matter
3. won't break the bank
4. they actually have a decent selection most of the time....
5. you could just go for something sexy UNDER your usual clothes....give him a peek/flash....nothing like anticipation!
6. no one will suspect that you're not there buying red flannels:yawn: for winter.

I still; have my hangups, just because I have SOOOOOOOOO many horror stories and cases where guys have outright told me I am big(either left me for a prettier skinnier girl or told me I was too big) so I still get scared and nervous.
