    I started yesterday AND i started the couch to 5k yesterday....I'm hurting today but looking forward to keep going!!

    It's not the shred, it's a program combining the shred with no more trouble zones and banish fat, boost metabolism. I started this yesterday, i'm curious if anyone has tried it and if it works. If you google it you can find the whole routine.

  • i did the 30 day shred last year I lost about 12 pounds. I really enjoyed it but I found that 20 minutes really wasn't enough for me to continue to lose weight but it is a GREAT way to jump start your weight loss and condition your body for harder and longer workouts in the future.     I started monday, my abs and butt are feeling pretty fab =]

    ETA for those that asked, the 30 day slimdown is a combination of the 30DS, No More Trouble Zones, and Burn Fat Boost Metabolism DVD's.

    i did the 30 day shred last year I lost about 12 pounds. I really enjoyed it but I found that 20 minutes really wasn't enough for me to continue to lose weight but it is a GREAT way to jump start your weight loss and condition your body for harder and longer workouts in the future.     I was thinking that. I'm on day 4 of the Shred, level 1 and I'm feeling it!!! However, I'm thinking 20 mionutes??? Won't it seem like nothing by day 30??? LOL

    I'm adding in more walking and bike riding so that helps for now but I might need to move on to a different JM DVD after the Shred. Maybe the Slim will be better.

    I Googled the whole slim down plan and it seems like it would be pretty effective. Although, when I read of others' results, they weren't as extreme as I would have imagined. But everyone's body is different, so who knows.

    i am in, i have to start over cause i hurt the top of my foot on monday. so i am going to start all over. also if you want to you can drink green tea and you will sweat more which you burn more

    I've never heard that before- anything to help a good burn. Do you know why or have any good articles to read on it?

    Just saw this.... We have a group doing the slimdown as well... Today was day 10 for us...

    I had a quick look and found out that QUICK TROUBLE ZONES = NMTZ w/ no floorwork HTH

    Thinking of starting this myself, I get bored if I do the same workout everyday so this seems like a good plan!

    Day 2 is finally complete (I was so not motivated this morning!). Looking forward to NMTZ tomorrow, I always feel so strong after that one! :)

    I started it when the last group started, but I fell off the wagon for about four days...then I decided to go in and change it up, and add some things to it in order to tailor it to my needs.

    It's a great schedule, though! I HATE BFBM, though...it kicks my butt :(

    I was camping all weekend and with the crazy weather I didn't have any space to get my work in. Today will be my Day 3. I know it's going to be tough but I love the way NMTZ leaves a nice burn in my arms!
