Congrats everyone for posting amazing numbers this week! Some people have already past their monthly goal  We might end up with a few people turning in late measurements. However, I am officially posting our winner and posting the spreadsheet. As a group we lost 28.25 inches this week! That is a total of 46.5 inches in half a month! Again you guys are rock stars and this is amazing considering we have a smaller group of people:drinker:

The top winners of this week are:
1st place Rockachick1982 with 7.5 inches
2nd place srtiemann with 6 inches
3rd place Auroralds with 5.5 inches
The challenge of the week is going to be 250 push ups. That is an average of about 35 a day. If you break it down into multiple sets this shouldn't be too bad. Remember that the point is to try and push yourself to the next level and do something you wouldn't normally do. They can be either regular or modified (Knee bent or wall).
Question of the week: What have you done recently that has made you proud (other then your mesaurements)?0 -

My most recent proud moment is that I had self control last night and didn't order icecream when I took my husband and son out for some last night. This is huge for me! I am also proud of myself for starting the 30 day shred today because I have decided that I wanted to try something else to jump start the semi plateau I am on.0 -
Saturday: 0 - hurt my back
Sunday: 0 - back still not better
No it wasn't from the situps. Just twisted it the wrong way on Friday at work. It's better now, thanks.0 -

I wanted to let everyone know that we had a death in the family and I am not sure if I will be around on Monday to take care of the challenge. If I am not please still measure and post. I will take care of the spreadsheet and challenge asap though.0
-
So sorry for your loss. We will be here when you can get back to us.0
-
bmfrazie... Sorry to hear of your loss. My thoughts go out to you and your family.
How are people doing with push ups? I haven't done mine... Oops. I need to bring things around this weekend.0 -
I am so sorry to hear of your loss
You and your family are in my thoughts!0 -
I know your family is happy to have you there even though the circumstances are not what you want them to be. We'll be here when you come back!0

I'm good either way with the last measurement end of month or on Monday.
Thank you so much! So far we have a tie for the biggest drop this week at 3 inches. We are still missing lots of measurements though. If it is a tie we will see what both people want for the challenge and will give the option of picking between the two. I hope that everyone had a better week then me. I am hoping to get back into a routine and not have any unexpected things come up this week.0 -

Total lost: 0.75 inches. I'm finishing a class this week so hopefully i will have more time to devote to working out. I'm very interested in keeping this going through July too. This support is really keeping me accountable. However, I didn't get many pushups in this week (only about 50). With all that was happening between my jobs, family and classes i found it very difficult to squeeze them in.
Here's to a great last full week of June!0 -

It seems that this was a lower week for all of us. Congrats though on everyone for all the inches we dropped this week/month.
We have a tie for first place this week. bkrbabe57 and mona24523 both cleared 3 inches each this month. They will determine our last challenge for the month of June. The challenge will run until June 30th. You will be told two different challenges and you can pick one of them or if you are feeling a little over the top try to get both of them done in the next 9 days.
You all have done great and I am more then happy to carry on into July. Hopefully we can even add a few other people to our group. I will only do one more check in though for June. You can decide if you want it to be Monday or Wednesday of next week. I will also post a link next week for our new monthly challenge.
Thanks ladies for the joining me in June.0 -
Here is the challenge options for the next 9 days:
Mona --- 300 jumping jacks
bkrbabe ----300 side lunges(150 each side) You need to lunge all the way down and touch the floor.
This is how the challenge will work for this week. You can pick one of the above challenge or if you are feeling extra crazy you can opt to do both. Please tell the group though what you are planning on doing. You will have until June 30th though so 9 days instead of the normal 7 days.
Happy end of June! Let's go out with a BANG!!0 -
So far so good. I chose to do the jumping jacks. I did 100 yesterday and 100 today. If i keep doing 100 a day I might get up to 8 or 900 by the end of this challenge.
What did everyone else choose and how are you doing?0 -
i am doing the jumping jacks because I already do 100+ each day in the 30 Day Shred. However, I think since the challenge goes longer I am going to try and tackle the side lunge also.
Jumping Jack
Monday --- 95
Tuesday --- 120
Wednesday -- 128
343 total so far
I am really hoping that I will finish strong with a nice drop for the end of the month.0
