What goals did you meet (weight/fitness/health)? What were your best NSV's? What are your goals for June?

Rules for this thread:
Please only post positive things. No whining about unmet goals, however; you may mention them as goals for next month. :)

I'm having a rough week, and I'd just really like to see a long list of positive things here. i hope those who are too shy to start their own success topic, will at least reply here. And those who already posted their success stories may repost here as well!

I started my new lifestyle on May 10 and since then, I've lost 7lbs! Two out of the three weeks I did next to no exercise because I injured my ankle exercising but I still managed to be under my calorie goal 99% of the time. :) Yay me!

For June, I'm trying to start off slowly so I don't injure myself again! My goal is to walk 60 miles this month and start incorporating some strength training. :)

started mfp may 1st and I lost 9 pounds. the goal was 10, but i am very happy with the 9. 12 more pounds gets me to my goal of 150 by my birthday June 27. its a lot, but i know i can dig deep and do it. i have learned a lot this month and after reviewing my progress charts and going over my mistakes, i know where to focus to get this done in the month of June.

I'm hoping to lose 11 lbs in June!:) In May after going through a major personal life shift, instead of turning to food to medicate, I made a lifestyle change and have stuck to it for 4 + weeks! I'm so thankful for my faith and the support or my family and friends. I know I'm just starting out but I'm looking forward to seeing even more positive changes in the future!

Happy healthy livin for all of you in June!

    God bless

For may I met my goal of losing 5 lbs. I entered into the Healthy zone of the BMI. I fit into 2 dresses and 4 bikinis nicer than previously, I also lost another 1/2 inch off each thigh and 1/4 inch off each upper arm (those are my 2 trouble zones) so I was thrilled.

My goal for June is to lose another 5lbs (and hopefully the bikinis and dresses will fit even better) I want to finish month 2 of my 2nd round of P90X and hopefully see some good results regarding my muscles. I want to try and eat more non meat dishes this month and successfully go to several functions without majorly pigging out.
  • I made an account on Sunday May 22nd. Start date was Monday the 23rd. Between when I weighted myself (Sunday night) and the end of may I lost 7 pounds!!!! That is 7 pounds in 9 days. And exercised a lot and ate a lot (but mostly healthy!) and was never hungry for munchy food (that alone is a HUGEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE accomplishment!)

Thanks for posting this! I was feeling stuck for the last week or two of the month and things are looking up again. This reminds me of what I accomplished before my very temporary pause; I am on a mission!

I started the month by running a big 10K race I haven't done since before my oldest was born four years ago. I just checked the difference in my time and I beat my 2006 run by over 7 minutes!

I also joined Jazzercise, which I used to do over ten years ago, and I LOVE it. I can only get to about three classes a week with my 2 & 4 year old boys, but the instructor is a fireball and makes me do things I would never do to myself! I know that as the weight comes off I will develop muscle tone as well thanks to this. AND I LOST 7 POUNDS IN TWO WEEKS doing this and running on alternate days.

I figured out how to use an ipod - well, mostly (my husband is still on task as my trouble shooter)...

AND, I was invited by a friend to join a secret Facebook support page for other moms trying to drop excess poundage. Every week I am accountable by a photo of my feet on the scale and we can write to one another for support or encouragement. I AM SO EXCITED ABOUT THIS, IT'S LIFTING ME OFF AGAIN!!!! WHEEE...35 lbs, get ready to say goodbye to this sassy *kitten*! LOL

I ran 20 miles - my longest run ever. And I did a pull-up (actually I did 2 "sets" of 2 pull-ups). Being able to do a pull-up has been on my goal list at boot camp since I first started 18 mos ago.

My goal for June: run my first marathon

    Awesome, congratulations :D
  • Although I started mfp in March. I did win our biggest looser competition at my work. I lost 18 lbs.We are continuning it through the summer. My proudest moment was accomplishing Jillian Michaels 30 day shred level 3 and starting on getting ripped in 30 days. When I started in March I could barely do a jumping jack.sThanks to the support of my friends and family and co workers. I still have a long way to go.

I haven't reached any huge weight loss goals.

Though I have accomplished getting back on the wagon after falling off for a long time.

I have binged a little this month but I have not purged. I'm starting to feel like I might have a fighting chance against bulimia.

In May I ran my second 5K, didn't gain any weight throughout all of our tornado nonsense, quit getting XL t-shirts because I can now fit into a L, and squeezed my butt into a size 16 (which I haven't been able to do since high school)!!
