How do you get turkey bacon crispy?

I eat Jennie-o maple turkey bacon and cannot get to crisp on the pan, but microwave with paper towels seems to work. Just be careful not to burn it. I actually don't mind if its not crispy, I eat it more for the flavor than the texture. A slice or two is a good addition to many sandwich combinations.0

Turkey bacon does make a good sandwich! Especially with lettuce and tomato.0

I always microwave it....2-3 minutes for 2 slices...and it comes out crispy (I let it sit for a couple of minutes after nuking it and before eating it).0

One of the ONLY things I've found that has no acceptable substitute. I burnt the heck out of it because it never changed colors lol. Sick0

bake in oven for 12 to 15 mins at 400 spray a cookie sheet with pam spray or generic version and maybe flip half through cooking but I dont bother and its fine.
i don't eat turkey bacon but i love real bacon. I normally microwave it and it works perfectly, but it seems to get messy even if i layer a lot of paper towels to try to catch the grease....
So today i decided to try the oven baked method on some thick cut bacon. I put it on 375 for about 22-23 minutes and it came out really good, right between crispy & chewy. kind of like jerky but with a crisp to it. i wanted it to get a wee bit crispier but took it out because the very ends were starting to look like they might start burning. i'm thinking using 350 for a longer length of time would solve that problem. in the meantime i have some of today's batch left in a baggie in the fridge, hopefully when i nuke it to re-heat it will give it that extra crisp.0 -

I either use my Foreman grill or the oven. Both will get it crispy, but the oven does the best job. I put it under the broiler. It will cook very fast, so don't forget about it unless you want burnt turkey bacon0

i think the microwave remains my preferred method as well. i just nuked some of the leftover thick cut bacon that i oven baked last night and it is perfectly crispy now.0 -
I don't understand the question!
Bacon comes form a pig not a turkey!
Must be a troll post.1 -

I use the broiler pan and broil one side, flip over and do the other side. I remove and pat with paper towel. It is quite crispy.0

cook it in a ton of olive oil.0

Microwave between 2 pieces of parchment paper, doesnt stick to the bacon and comes out crispy. I don't eat pork so I buy turkey or chicken bacon -both yummy!0

I apologize if someone mentioned this already, but someone gave my boyfriend this thing called 'makin bacon' its an infomercial type thing. You hang the turkey. I have had good results with jennie o.0

I cook mine on the stove and have no trouble getting it crispy. Nor do I spray the pan. We love turkey bacon. I simply let it cook and turn it over when i feel it's ready to be flipped. I also set it on a plate to cool down.1

I fry it in Bacon Grease....

I put it on a couple of paper towels, then microwave it for several minutes. You really have to overcook it in the microwave to get it crispy. It does taste more like "real" bacon when it's crispy, too. It's the only way I can tolerate the taste.0

I've never seen chicken bacon.0 -
George Foreman grill!!
Yep!
Also, I broil it on high in the oven sometimes.. but you have to really watch it.0 -
Put it on a paper plate with a paper towel over it and microwave it... about a min for each slice... give or take depending on your micowave.... this is the only way I can get it crispy!

Agree!! Microwave is the best!0 -
Oven bake it on 400 for about 12 minutes. But keep an eye on it before it burns!! Always comes out crispy0
-
Put it in a Foreman grill and just let it cook until dark. Maybe a minute or two longer than the books tells you. It'll be crispy, crunchy just like you want it.0
