    I filled up a jug with 80 ounces that I kept in the fridge so I could track it. Yikes. I need to step up the water intake. But even with this, I feel sloshy half the day! Does your body gradually adapt?

    yes you'll adapt!!! If you can just make an effort to keep getting that water in, after a few days you'll be thirsty if you drink less than that large amount!

    so - does marching in place count? There is no way i'm going walking in 100 degree weather today! and I dont have access to a treadmill

    yes you'll adapt!!! If you can just make an effort to keep getting that water in, after a few days you'll be thirsty if you drink less than that large amount!

    i decided to start drinking water when i quit smoking 5 yrs ago. The first week I felt like a water balloon ready to pop! but then my body got used to it and i began needing all that water - plus other drinks started to taste overly sugary and "fake". So now I am one of those chicks that carries around a 32oz bottle of water everywhere, orders water at restaurants (usually get it filled up twice), and I pee like crazy! lol But I've never been healthier! just need to drop the "quit-smoking" weight and I'll be super fit :)

    How the heck does one get in 6 miles at once?!?! Oh my!

    I just don't have time for that many miles at a time! lol

    My goal this week is to simply complete C25K week three (haven't done it in 5 weeks so I figured going back to week 3 and doing it again should get my ball rolling again.
    Things have been rough!!!!!!!!! My good habits are no longer habits and my routine is all in shambles! It will be a perfect time for summer to start so I am off work and can get my life together again! HaHa.

    I want to be at goal by the end of summer and I think that is completely realistic if I actually get back on the freaking horse here!!!
    Anyhow, water has been good and miles have been nonexistant! But I plan on running tonight- i am shooting for 2 Miles- that's if my hip participates!
