Akward Question about Bikini Tops

Maybe halter tops with the thicker straps?
This is exactly what I was going to suggest! What about buying the biggest available (XL maybe?) and then altering the straps to make it smaller around... that way you get the biggest cup size but can sew it to make it fit more like your true size.0 -
Victoria secret has a line for women with D chest and bigger. and they are made to support the girls. They are also good quality swimsuites. I wont buy my swimsuits anywhere else. although since dieting I no long belong to the busty girls club.0

Bra sized bikini tops! Freya makes some good ones. Try this webiste: http://www.lindasonline.com/swimwear.html0

Oh, and don't get one with the thin strap that goes around your neck. Not a good idea for busty girls--it will cut in.
The Land's End suits are very well made and you can buy tops and bottoms separately. There's a lot on sale right now on their website. Avoid a tube top or string bikini style.0 -
How about the tops that are like a bra? Shoulder straps instead of a halter that ties at the back of the neck.0

I have the same problem...
However, in your quest to lose weight, there's a good possibility that you'll also be losing fatty tissue from your breasts. I'm down 50lbs and have already lost 1.5 cups. I'd hold off on buying a more expensive/specialty bikini top until you're at your goal weight.
With that being said, I definitely recommend finding a bikini top with built in support like a wire (that way your boobs won't sag as much and they'll look even more amazing!). Victoria's Secret has some nice ones, and they even have tops available by cup size, including D and DD. I can't do any of the cute halter tops because my boobs won't fit in them0 -
Try the Athleta catalog --0

I live in Arizona and we have a store here called EVERYTHING BUT WATER. They are online as well. They have underwire tops that do the trick. Yes, they are a bit pricier but totally worth it!! http://www.everythingbutwater.com/
You'll pretty much need to stick to underwire tops. Anything else just won't help.0 -
I have always had this problem! I used to do a sports bra and then would go get bottoms that matched it, that and I just decided that tankinis or one pieces were better than my boobs falling out of the top.0

your best bet is a halter with thick straps. cosmo and other similar magazines have articles in their issues in the summer months, suggesting specific suits for your body type. check out this link I found from cosmopolitan.com and select the category "busty" (sorry, haha). I wish I had your problem!

i saw a bikini top once that you stick too you, and it doesnt have a back..
like a bikini style strapless bra..
but i think it was not waterproof..
which would be very impractical..
hmm.
*Best idea so far0 -
Buy the tops and bottoms separately. Lots of places do that. You can find a top/style that holds in the girls and bottoms that flatter that part.
Thats what I do but I just can't find tops big enough.0 -
I have big boobs and most of my bikini tops come from Old Navy. They have the halters with the thick straps, and I get an XL my my boobs never come out of the side because the halters with this straps cover a lot more. I also have a bandeau top from there that ties around the neck so it's kind of like the tube tops with the tie. it's great because it covers all the way around my boobs!0

i dont know where you are, but maybe try the freya range. They do cup sizes and specialise in larger cup sizes, even if you have a small back. Im a 30F and my best bikini is from there0

This. Ties around your neck hurt and dig, but if the top is shaped approximately like a bra, and has an underwire, that's the best bet.0 -
Same problem here! The solution I am doing this summer is a breast reduction in two weeks! Good luck to you on finding a swimsuit that works though!
I want a reduction now. I know after I have kids they are going to cause me a world of hurt. I love my boobs, it would just be easier if they were maybe a decent C instead of a Double D.0 -

I meant to add to this - sorry. I'm a 32F and this site, http://www.bravissimo.com (careful, you have to pay in British pounds here), or Nordstroms are the only place I'll buy either swimsuits or bras. If you have a Nordstroms nearby - I highly recommend them. Just go directly to the lingerie department and tell them what you want. They'll measure you and bring you all sorts of options.0 -
In the UK we have Bravissimo which sell Freya Bikini tops seperately to bottom up to a HH cup I think.0
-
I say be yourself and don't let societal norms force you to wear a top. Be a trend setter.0

Have this problem as well since I am a 34 DD. Just found an amazing bikini top (ordered it 5 minutes ago actually lol) from Venus Swimwear. Venus has really nice full cut bra fitting bikini tops. Check out the site. Good luck!0
