    :blushing: I agree with the one on finishing your kids foods!

    also rewarding myself (and my kids) with food! I hate it and I catch myself doing it ALOT!
    Aw you did well on your math test. . lets bake a cake and celabrate, good job cleaning your room, who wants to take a bike ride to Dairy Queen. UGG
    I HATE IT but find it hard to stop. so many years ingrained that everything revolves around food!

    So I am making changes not only for myself but for my kids so they dont struggle like I struggle.

    Being a better example for my kids is a big motivator for me. My parents are both overweight, and both my sisters and I have fought with it our whole lives. It's not genetic, it's a poor lifestyle. We need to have better habits.

    DQ soft serve really isn't that bad! I try to get just a few ounces and no cone, and it fits fine in my daily caloric limit. The only problem is my day's sugar is usually way over if I do that... but then again, a protein bar or just about anything processed will blow away my sugar limit too.
