Does anyone else feel sorry for...

The yolk is the best part of the egg. I eat two whole eggs once a day and have never had any problems with my cholesterol level.0

i cant bring myself to throw them out because i feel it's such a waste. and egg's arent entirely cheap.
If you can't possibly stomach an egg yolk, i know your dog or cat would enjoy it. plus it gives them a healthy shiny coat.0 -
I don't feel bad for eggs. I feel bad for clams. No eyes, no ears, no face, they must get bored.0

I eat pasture raised, free range eggs...they cost a pretty penny at Whole Foods, but they are local (Grant's Farm) and are better for you. So I eat them sparingly, usually mix them in with some egg whites. I had to stop being a Vegan because I missed eggs and cheese too much. Though, I still bake without them (vegan baking is actually easier than you think!), cause at $5.60 per dozen, I am not wasting them on cake LOL!!0

Oh, and my cholesterol is around 120 (or enviable, as my MD tells me!).0

I'm feeling much better to know that everyone hasn't given up on the humble yolk. My chickens will be pleased that all their work isn't going to waste anyway!0

This. It broke my heart today to use only whites (first time I've tried it and the re ops specified whites only)... I couldn't bear to throw the lovely yolks out - they're from a friend's free range chickens... So I put them into a bucket of frozen veggie scraps that gets turned into dog food... I believe I'll remain a fan of the entire egg.0 -
farm fresh eggs are the only way to go they even look different.yes,im a farmgirl.0

Nope not me, I eat them too.
I don't think "egg white only" omelettes and such are in vogue in Australia, and I've never seen "eggbeaters" in the supermarket - I think it's one of those US trends, that luckily hasn't come here. Or maybe it has, and I've never noticed because I'm too busy enjoying a good poached egg (on rye brea with avocado - yum!)
Most of my eggs come from my sister's hens, and the yolks are so bright yellow that it looks like you've added yellow colouring to a fritatta or scrambled eggs!0 -

That sounds DELICIOUS.0 -
The yolk is the best part, I am not giving it to the dog or throwing it out! I eat eggs maybe 3 times a week and always eat the whole thing. I especially love poached eggs!0

i save the yolks and then make a custard of some sort. and then give it away lol0

The yolk is the best part, but I do try not to eat more than a couple a week.0

Some people are sensitive to dietary cholesterol and need to control their cholesterol intake. Other than that, there is no reason to throw out egg yolks....0

I eat yolks everyday in my homemade quiche and also as an ingredient in other dishes.
I need to find a farm to buy free range eggs from. The yolks are dark gold and delicious0 -

I usually eat the yolks, especially in scrambled egg, no other way to eat it!! But.... I recently learnt how to make omlette (i know im behind times and that is me "branching out") but i use so much egg so i tried it with two full eggs and 4 egg whites..... tastes amazing, all those yummy toppings!! i also add a bit of garlic and herb salt, its perfection on a plate hahaha0

Unless you HATE them...0 -
I think they taste disgusting. I used to give them to the cats. Now I make custard or quiche or lemon curd for the children, so they get to fulfill their unfertilised eggy potential.0
