What was your "moment"?

I've been trying to do this all my life, thinking I could without keeping track of what goes in my mouth. Obviously, I haven't succeeded and the consequence of my being overweight the majority of my life is two bad arthritic knees. My moment is/was when the pain from my knees being bone on bone bothers me to a point I have to do something. I'm hoping to get 80 lbs off to make having knee replacements this Dec. or Jan. safer for myself. My friend showed me MFP and I'm hooked. I still struggling some but the support of everyone here is great and journaling is a must for me and of course, it's free. Good luck on your journey.0
