So how was everybody's 4th of July weekend? I think mine went pretty well ... had a bbq turkey burger and skipped the bun so I could have tortilla chips and salsa. Kind of bummed that I missed the fireworks, but I have a 19 month old and I was inside helping her sleep since she was a bit scared of all the noise outside!0

I'd like to join in, managed to lose 10lb in June but don't think that will happen this month so will put a realistic goal.

I'm a little late, but as of Friday 7/1/11 here are my stats!

CW: 161.5 (Woo hoo! 2.5 lbs lost!)

My 4th was ok. I had BBQ for lunch and dinner but I swam at my aunt's, came home and mowed grass with a push mower, and did my day of P90X, so I think I balanced it all out, lol. I don't know for sure though because I'm going with what I weighed on Sunday because I didn't get to weigh myself Monday and now in one of the challenges I'm participating in we can't get on the scale all week so I'm really, really hoping for 182 this Monday!0

It's all about balance isn't it? It feels good to be active and feel like you've "earned" the right to indulge, instead of feeling guilty. At least, that's how I see it! :drinker:

Sorry I didn't weigh in yesterday! I was in Boston watching the Red Sox play for my hubby's birthday. Great game and nice hotel, but couldn't find a scale anywhere. Tomorrow morning I will do my weigh in and I'm setting a goal for the rest of the week to try and burn 500 calories a day, since I was kind of a slacker this weekend. Anybody else want to join me in the 500 calories per day club for the week?0

Tues is my official weigh day so here's my weigh in
SW - 165
W1 - 165 - 5th July
W2 - 163.6 - 12th July
Well a 1.4lb loss not too bad not sure i will hit the 160 by the end of july though things seem to have slowed down a bit. Maybe because i'm only 23.6lb now off my final target, any suggestions people of how to step it up again, i've rejigged my calories to lose 1lb a week to allow myself more calories per day, and i'm currently on day 15 of 30 day shred although not consecutive.
Goal for the end of July - 1600 -
So, being away from home did not help my cause this week. I ended up gaining a pound, but am looking to pump it up this week with 500 calories of exercise a day! Hopefully, that will help me hit my goal still at the end of the month. We can do this!

I'm on day 12, should be 13 but I missed a day, of the shred right now. It's a killer isn't it? Fun though I just started to see a loss recently, apparently for the first week or two your muscles retain water to repair themselves. If you haven't been doing it consecutively maybe it takes a little longer? Either way, it will work if you stick it out0 -

Hey folks! This week went much better as I made it to two yoga classes and ran almost everyday. I'm on week 5 of C25k. From last weeks gain, I'm down 2 lbs, but just one lb off the original July start weight. I'm off to work and then I'm going to run to my parents' house for dinner. (about 5 miles). Keep up the good work everybody!
