good morning...
happy with the scale this morning.
julia...they know who did it. a neighbor just happen to have gotten home just before it happened. he ran down to see what the noise was and ran back and got in his truck and followed the guy and got a plate. they live in a court and he lives just 2 house down. i haven't heard if they got him yet or will go after him. or what the insurance is doing. it's a pontoon boat and both pontoons are damages. it might be totaled. those bushes really help. he would have gone into shanells bedroom. we assume it was a guy. cause we think a girl would have broken down cried and not left.
have errands to run today. put us on a food budget and meal plan. day one done without a hitch. we made it so on mon, wed, fri are easy fix days since they are gym days. ohhhh good news... son is moving his stuff out of here and storage unit on the 12th. don't know yet if he will physically be gone than too. that depends on if he has power. he's going to go dig his ditch today and call the guy and tell him he has haft his money. the guy said he would work with him. at least it's in the right direction.

GOOD morning Ladies!!!
Wow...down THREE pounds this week and SO excited about it!! I was complaining to a co-worker yesterday about how I wasn't losing as much as I wanted lately and then BAM...here's to boost my confidence again!! Plus...I am wearing those size eight bermuda's today and they fit WONDERFULLY!!! Now there are 5 pairs of shorts in my closet that say size 8 on the tag...totally exciting to me!!
Last night I got in a great run plus did my JM Yoga Meltdown...was craving some Yoga and it felt SO good!! Thinking I'm going to mix up my workouts for a while now.
Plan today:
Food--
B-Crunchy Nut cereal, skim milk, coffee w/sugarfree creamer
S-Banana
L-Work BBQ so I'm planning on misc. 500 calories...hamburger (no bun) pasta salad, potato salad, and baked beans (~1/4 c. each) and a cookie
S-Apple
D-Chicken on salad greens with baby tomatos, cucumber, and spritzer dressing
S-Small piece of cake
Exercise--
Run outside

Well, I have not weighed in yet. I am going to WW tonight to face the scale. I know it wont be good but I have to do it.
I am gym shopping. I belong to 24 Hour Fitness and I need a change. I want a smaller gym. I was trying to figure out what makes me go to pilates ever week without fail but I cant seem to make it to the gym without fail.....Its the sheer busyness of the gym. We contacted one today that has a good deal for couples, its got 24 hour access and a GREAT list of classes. We will go chat with someone about it. They also give a free first time member nutrition session slong with 2 personal training sessions....and its close to home. All in all it sounds like a winner. We do want to go see it, see the equipment and make sure they have top quality stuff there.

I'm sad to say that I gained from last week, but TOM started today and I'm hoping that's why.
I didn't get in the cardio that I had wanted to last week, so I hope to be able to this week. The holiday weekend coming up might kill me. Gotta find the motivation to keep myself motivated.

Hoping to regain some energy before this evening so I can get in another run before our hot hot weather the next couple days! Probably will skip my JM workout tonight, unless maybe some yoga...I am SO sore today!

154!!! Brilliant stuff.... Want to get close to 150 this time round I seem to have got stuck in a rut? I have danced about 155 for ages now and I'm not sure how to jump start again? Any advice anyone??
So I've been to the doctors and have to go back for blood tests next week. They're looking for diabetes, anaemia, thyroid issues amongst other stuff. I'm 26.... I don't think any of these options are going to be much fun to manage but hopefully this will give me some way forward and I can start to feel better.
Finding the energy to exercise is difficult. Especially as the headaches really do stop me going for a run or doing a dvd. I just want to sleep. Got some beta blockers to treat the headaches but am reluctant to take them as they also used to treat depression and anxiety (neither of which I suffer from) and I don't want to get hooked!!!
I'll keep you posted. Off to do some JM whilst I feel semi-normal

clair are they checking your vit. D? when i become really tired my D levels are really low. i take 4000 mg a day now, cause they won't come up. i am diabetic and it's not as hard to handle as people seem to think. yes, some changes have to be made, but, i eat and do as anyone else does, just sometimes a little differently. i was able to brink my numbers down righ away. i have found through the years what i have to do to keep them low. good luck.
zumba tonight. shanell may not go, cause her hubby set up an appt with his trainer.

Kristen- I just got the latest Fitness Magazine in the mail and there is an artical about JM. She is coming out with some new workouts...Rip 60 and Killer Buns & Thighs. She also talks about why she quit BL too. She is adopting a child. She is also joining the cast of the talk show called The Doctors and will be a fitness correspondent for Dr Phil too. AND she has a fitness clothing line coming out. There is alot going in her world. I think the Rip 60 sounds like it is similar to what P90X is made for.
Clare- I have problems with anemia. Last year at this time I was severely anemic and had to have iron infussions done. Headaches, body aches and severe fatigue where my main symtoms along with very poor circulation. I know what it feels like to just want to know what is wrong with you and get it fixed. I hope its you Vit D or iron as those things are easily resolved. Diabetes would not be fun! My fingers are crossed for answers!0 -
Wow, I forgot to weigh in again today. Obviously I am subconsciously staying away from the scale. But I am on it tomorrow morning. Crazy, crazy week. Usually only have my kids 50% of the time, but I have had them for a whole week, just not on vacation, so normal schedule, which means NOTHING is getting done that normally does. Also daughter was sick with stomach bug. Last night, friend went to the hospital, so I was up late with her 3 teenagers and they eventually came to my house. The life of a mother never rests.
On a positive note, we went for a checkup for my daughter and I talked to the doctor about how to handle two children with two different body types and different caloric needs (my son is underweight, my daughter is pre-pubescent so she has her beautiful baby fat). I discussed in front of her after asking her beforehand if she felt comfortable with it. The doctor reassured her (thankfully) that she was not fat by any means and definitely on the right track with her height and weight (although in her class she isn't rail thin like all the other girls) and that he was proud of her for instituting an exercise program (we run 3 times a week). But he said don't increase junk, just calories for my son and my daughter is to learn to stop eating when full. So I found this website from the FDA that talks about "Spot the Block" which gave information on how to read labels. So we went over what Fats (Sat and Trans), cholesterol, and sodium mean. I printed out menus from starbucks, dunkin donuts, and mcdonalds for foods that they were normally get there and we went over what it means and how to lessen the fat content (pick skim milk instead of whole, get a muffin instead of a donut, lessen the cream cheese). We found out that if we eat a fruit bar (60 calories and no fat), instead of ice cream (we usually eat 4 servings at 600 calories we figured out and 50% fat), that we would be just as satisfied. I told them not to be embarassed to read labels, no matter what others might say (including their other household). This was for THEIR health and it might influence the other household to be more self-conscious. So we decided that all the yummy things we love to eat that aren't so healthy in (any fats, cholesterol, or sodium that read over 20% for them, 12% for me), that they were our "party foods" and something we would eat when we were out and about with friends and not an everyday, and we are to enjoy them thoroughly because we know we won't be getting them at home. Then we went through the kitchen and pantry together and decided what stayed and what went and ditched a bunch of food. It was fun. Next month, we are going to visit the good sugars/unnecessary sugars on the labels and figure out how to incorporate them in their lives. I really wish someone had taught me all these things when I was their age. Hopefully it will stick and with exercise and proper choices, they will grow up to be confident, healthy teenagers into adulthood. (I hope, i hope, i hope).
Okay. to work. Need to get motivated on exercise. Not feeling it, but needing it.
Clare - sorry you aren't feeling the greatest. Hopefully they find it is something simple and easy and just tweaking here and there will make it all better.
