You are awesome!
Wanna give me some of your miles? Need to update my miles, but begining to think there is no way I am going to make 150. Especially if I want to be able to back off a bit a few days before race day. Will still be pulling for all of you!0 -

18 miles today - a fair amount of walking, and a couple short breaks, but amazing non the less. I love my body.0 -

8 today, plan for an easy 5/6 tomorrow, then running with the trail group on Wednesday to do a practice run of the long course for the race, 10.5. That should put me at 101. Then a rest day, an easy run and a long run over the weekend, should be into the 120's. That should allow me to taper a bit before the race and still make 150 if everything goes right. Fingers crossed.0

Truly inspiring! How long have you been running?0 -
Just reached 120, not sure how the rest of the week is going to play out.
An ankle surgery a couple years back left me with a hip out of alignment. When I started upping my milage, it the outward rotation on my foot/leg was stressing my hip flexor. Have started seeing a great sports therapist, who uses multiple modalities as well as chiropractic work. He told me to keep running, but my body has told me to back off a little bit this past week. It is strange relearning how to run and walk now that things are balanced. Working to build strength in muscles that were not being utilized - had no idea how much I was using my other leg to pull me forward. Nor how much I was landing on the outside of my foot. The process is an interesting for sure - luckily the hip flexor doesn't hurt when it is aligned, just need to make sure I don't get out to far and get fatigued, because that is when the muscles start wanting to revert to their old structure.0 -
