Questions about calories...

So my main goal here is to lose weight, the healthy way, but I have a couple of questions and I was wondering if anyone had some advice for me.

To begin, I get the recommended time of exercise per day done, but it doesn't burn the goal calories per day. Is this bad?

Then, at the end of the day I always have at least 100-200 calories left over. Is that ok?

Thanks everyone!

It's probably fine. I wouldn't worry too much about any of the fine details unless your weight loss isn't working or stops working. If your goal is 1200 a day, you should try to get closer to your goal, otherwise it's almost certainly fine.

I always tell others to listen to their bodies on when they want to eat and exercise. Personally I feel better exercising in the mornings because it gives me the energy I need to take care of my kids. Also when I eat there are some days I'm not as hungry as others where I feel famished. I make sure to drink plenty of water and try to net at 1200. Good luck to you!:flowerforyou:

The exercise goals are set by you, so whatever you feel comfortable with and can sustain without getting overtired or burning out is fine.

Within 100-200 of cal goal is fine. According to your ticker, you have a pretty good amount to lose, so your body can withstand a fairly large deficit. Remember that you have a built in deficit, so however far under goal you are adds to that deficit. Try not to be too far under too often, but 100-200 is ok.

Sounds like you're doing great, congrats on getting started! :flowerforyou:
