What is it about fruit that you dislike?
If you don't have much of a sweet tooth, maybe you can try making fruits more savory. A restaurant near me makes a ham & pear sandwich, and another has a Gorgonzola & pear pizza. Maybe you can sneak some chopped plums into salsa or something.
I can't eat too many acidic fruits (oranges, stawberries, etc) they make my mouth have sores.
Maybe I have a bit of an allergy to them? Not sure.

Maybe you could try a bowl of blueberries and sliced apricots in milk?0 -
I like all fruit I've tried except pomegranate and most melons. I can eat watermelon, but it's kinda meh.
I also can't stand raw bananas if they have ANY sign of brown spots, but I can freeze them and make banana sorbet/icecream in the food processor. No cooked bananas either.
As for non acidic fruit... Um is avocado a fruit? Cause that and bananas are the only ones I can think of. And honeymelon I think, I can't really remember how acidic it is cause It's been ages since I tried it.0 -
I read somewhere that bananas can keep belly fat on you. They are not good for trying lose that. But I'm not totally sure0

There are no fruits that you should never eat! None! I love most fruits and those I did not like I started to eat and try and now I love them. A perfect example is bananas. My doctor had me to start eating those for potassium. And now I love them and eat one a day most days.
Try to incorporate fruits in your diet when you can. Start off with one a day. Even if it is one banana a day. then try something like a apple a day.
clearly you have not tried Durian - even the smell grosses me out, though some consider it a delicacy, I consider it vile!

I would however recommend trying whatever is in season, especially if grown near to you, then you are probably getting the fruit in it's prime and will have the best chance to learn if you like it or not :-)0 -
I love veg and salad but am not a huge fan of fruit!
I do however love Kiwi fruit and strawberries are fab too! Also pineappl is delish!0 -
Ugh! I am so jealous that you have the "choice" of what friuts you don't eat! I love fruits and veggies (really dislike meat), but I have a ton of food allergies so I cannot not eat everything. I am allergic to apples, plums, pears, carrots, peas, celery and others. It bums me out....all I want is to enjoy a nice apple or crunchy carrot! lol )0

avocados, grapefruit, kiwi, peaches, mangos, but I'll try anything...0

I don't really eat grapes, they kind of freak me out. I don't not like them.. but they remind me of eyeballs. I also stay away from grapefruit, too bitter!
But I looooooooooooooooooooove eating fruit. I eat bananas, strawberries, apples, oranges, watermelon, canteloupe, kiwi, almost any kind of fruit!
I find when I eat fruit, I do not crave sweets! It makes my sugar intake hiiiiiigh sometimes but I figure if its from fruit, oh well.0 -
grapefruit ... NASTY!!!0
-
I really don't like apples, I never have. I find them bland, boring and a chore to eat. Strangely I love most other kinds of fruit.....pears, banana's strawberries, melon........just not apples :ohwell:0

I love most all fruit except grapefruit, honey dew melon, and raspberries.0
-
I agree with the grapefruit.. it's def. an acquired taste!
I also don't like melons.. something about the taste just makes me gag. Also banana's.. the texture to me is gross!
I do eat a lot of strawberries, grapes, raspberries, cherry's, watermelon and cuties(they are clementine oranges). I also eat apples sometimes with peanut butter or carmel dip.. Very yummy!0 -
I think the only one to stay away from are the cherry bombs my sister in law made by soaking maraschino cherries in Everclear.
Edit: And dried apricots. I love the taste. I hate what they do to me!0 -
I avoid raspberries as the pips get stuck in my teeth and I can't eat FRESH peaches as the skins are 'furry'... they seem to make my mouth go funny...its really weird...but canned peaches are fine though.0

Hahaha Horned Melons (yes there is such a fruit: http://www.cookingforengineers.com/article/133/African-Horned-Melon-or-Kiwano) are hilarious but they serve no real purpose...not tasty, kind of soup like, and green)
I love fruits and veggies but I would suggest avoiding this one.0 -
Fruit is amazing. Love nearly all of it and I'm a really, really picky eater.
But fruits that I don't like are:
Bananas - dislike the texture and they're not refreshing and juicy like other fruits. Plus they're higher in calories etc.
Avocados - too fatty and greasy.
Kiwi Fruit - no idea why, they freak me out.
Grapefruit - sour
Lemon - sour
Lime - sour
Rhubarb - Vomit inducing.0 -
fruits to stay away from: pineapples, bananas and watermelon as they are loaded with sugar.
whatever fruits you eat, get them fresh, not canned. if you have to get canned, get the ones in natural fruit juice. frozen is also good alternative to fresh.0 -
Somebody said star fruit is bland... HOW DARE YOU!! I was seriously just thinking about how much I'd love to have one.. I used to get them at Winn Dixi, until they closed down several years ago. Not bland at all
I will eat bananas sometimes, but they give me heart burn.
For grapefruits, if you find that they are too sour peel them and remove the "skin" from each slice. You loose a lot of fiber and vitamin C that way but the fruit itself isn't bitter at all.. Personally for me though, if I get grapefruits or oranges I will eat the pith off of the peel. Only leaving the actual rind. The pith is packed in vitamin C, more than the fruit itself has.
With mangoes, I have to peel and slice them.. I have made the mistake of eating them like apples before and the acid made my lips peel like crazy, and it hurt.0 -
Gosh...I LOVE fruit!!
Not too many I don't like...
Let's see...
I could go without pears...not a big fan of those guys...and honestly, blueberries aren't that high on my list...Mangos are a pain in the butt to eat, but I do LOVE them when someone cuts one up for me...0 -
bananas - when I was young I loved banana everything (including the yoplait custards), now I hate everything about them. There are better sources for all the nutrients that bananas have to offer anyway.0
-
I dont mess with grapefruits or kiwis. the rest im cool with0
