All of the above remedies sound good, and I'll add one of my own. When I get them really bad, I'll switch out from a tampon to a pad. For whatever reason, when a heating pad/advil won't work, that will.

Heating pad works best for me! i miss months at a time & they make up for the 1s i miss.

I used to miss months at a time til I found out I was on the verge of ovarian cancer... GET CHECKED OUT and you're 3x more likely to develop the cancer if you're overweight

For me, exercise is the only thing that really works.. that and midol.

    Tears, complaining, chocolate, and midol.

Just kidding. I prefer ibuprofin to midol.

Same! I was on Yaz for the longest time, and had 3 day periods with NO cramps at all! But I had to switch to this new one called Loloestrin, and let's just say that I've been cramping for almost 3 days STRAIGHT now. sdflskfhskjhflkshf
Anyways, a heating pad or a warm hand always helps my stupid uterus calm down. Can't wait to get it scooped out..:grumble:
  • Thanks for the ideas everyone! Ive heard working out helps as well but I workout in the morning so they tend to get worse through out the day. I will deff try some of these Ideas!!

I relieve mine with stretching and walking a mile!
  • I usually take an extra strength advil. But I usually eat a banana, and it really does the trick. You can also try stretching or working out, it can ease the pain. (:

excercise -walking, taking a B-complex and evening primrose oil helps me a lot and well, sex:blushing: -orgasm relieves cramps.. there are also 2 teas that my oldest daughter swears by.. they don't do much for me. both by Yogi- women's energy and moon cycle. if all else fails then go for ibuprofin and chocolate!
