Okay so I hope not to offend anyone but I am totally curious why MFP doesn't have sex as a way to burn calories, lol! I mean come on you know you have to...and it's great fun! I am curious as to how many calories I burn...I wonder if my bf would object to me wearing my hrm while having sex? LOL...

I'm just being kooky, though the thought did pop into my head and I had to check the database just to make sure it wasn't on there!

    EVERYBODY ASKS THIS QUESTION. Get a hrm, wear it during sex if you so desire and log it if you want. I consider it lifestyle and don't count it as exercise. Search "sex" in the forums and you'll know what I mean when I say everybody asks.

    Its not on there because although you have to be 18 to join up the site is PG13...plus do you really want your pals seeing "starryheart83 burned 109 calories doing 25 minutes of "having sex"...and more to the point do they want to know everytime you do rumpy pumpy?? Oh and it really doesn't burn that much despite what some may think unless you're into coital gynastics

    i did wear my HRM once during sex lol..
    but its a really crappy cheep one and turned off half way throo..
    so i dont have a clue how many calories i burned..
    actually i havent been able to turn it back on since lol..
    maybe my heart rate was just too high..

    I consider it part of my activity level and don't log it. Plus, I don't know about most people - but I'd rather not announce it every time I do it (and I'm sure my boyfriend appreciates that too...).
