Back to the gym today!

For the past 4 weeks or so (minus the one week where I was doing tourist things), all I've done is standard ballet classes - about 20+ hours each week, to the tune of 5000+ exercise calories per week (I use a HRM). Haven't lost much, if anything. My schedule made it hard for me to find the time to GO to the gym. I'd had classes morning and night and was just too tired between to do anything else.

Today, after my 2.5 hours of classes, I felt more energy so decided to go back. I did 200 cals on the elliptical, then some weights, then stretching, working on what I need to help with ballet and what I need to do to try to lose the blasted back/shoulder fat.

I feel fantastic. At first, I thought I'd feel cruddy, as I felt kind of tired and cruddy after my classes, but I guess my body really needs the cross-training. I'm probably going to collapse later, but for right now, I feel really good! Depending on my energy level later, I will likely take an evening ballet class. Maybe.... :-)
