The Bucket List - Things you want to do before you die.

Im creating a list of things i want to do before i die..

I would love to know what some of the things are that you guys want to do...

Heres what i have so far ->>..

- Jump in a taxi and yell "follow that car!".
- See a solar eclipse.
- Shoot a real gun.
- Learn to fluently speak a second language.
- Learn the 'Esperanto' language. (What was created to be the worlds second language).
- Go pole-dancing.
- Explore a temples ruins.
- Race a formula 1 car.
- Scale a mountain with no safety equipment.
- Take a boat out to the bermuda triangle too see what happens.
- See the northern lights.
- Witness a meteor shower.
- Go to stongehenge for the summer solstice.
- Go to egypt and see the ancient structures.
- Visit the doorway to hell in russia.
- Visit all 7 continents.
- Buy a car and pimp it.
- Reach my dream weight goal.
- Have a complete make-over.
- Stay up for 80 hours in a row.
- Win the lottery.
- Discover an ancient artifact.
- For a whole year do a circle for every wiccan "shabbat".
- Become a registered high priestess and start my own wiccan "church".
- Be knighted by the queen.
- Mutilate my enemy.
- Sample the spiciest food on earth.
- Do the splits.
- Become a P90x graduate.
- Travel the world without returning home for a year, and leave with only a ruck-sack.
- Stick a map to a dart board and let the darts decided what 3 places you will travel to next.
- Be an extra in a music video.
- Fast for a whole weak without cheating.
- Make a difference in the world.
- Smoke a spliff made from the page of a bible. (Apparently im not allowd to do this one).
- Get my belly pierced professionally.
- Get a tattoo on the bottom of my foot saying "made in England".

Anyone have any more ideas for me to add?

    There were people drilling for gas in russia, and they discovered a pocket of methane.
    One of the workers lit it in the hope that the gas would like drain out of the whole faster..
    But instead its now been on fire for 35 years or something like that..
    Its nothing too special, i just thought it would be nice to see!

    Awesome thread idea! I only have two at this very moment and they are "go to Ireland" and "buy a house". There are tons more of course, but those two are the biggest and highest on my list! *sigh*

    On my list of things to do before I'm 50 is to do an Elephant Back Safari, to swim with sharks, live in a foreign country, swim in the Mediterranean. visit all 7 continents, sky dive and to white water raft through the Grand Canyon in Colorado.

    I've already done one of them (live in a foreign country - in 2005 I lived in St. Petersburg, Russia). Only 6 more to go in about 22 years!

    I don't like the "Before You Die" idea, simply because that is to vague a time frame for me. I need a set date to work towards. :smile:

    i guess i only have two really, really important ones that i NEED to do before i die.

    1) fall completely inlove with another person, the forever kind

    2) see every country in the world (thanks mini sudan for just adding another country to the list, like there aren't ENOUGH already)

    -well the first thing I want to accomplish is lose this weight!
    -surf in different locales: bali, hawaii, scotland, etc. (I haven't finished marking places yet)
    -go dog sledding
    -see the northern lights
    -teach english abroad
    -live in another country for a year (or longer)
    -find my soulmate

    You're going to have trouble rafting the Grand Canyon in Colorado.

    OMG! I have done that! And, talked about it for weeks! Except it was more like "follow that bus!" I had left my wallet on it. I am glad I am not the only one that thinks thats somehow exciting!

    I've been thinking of all the things I have put off doing because I either don't have time or money. Like this summer...time, but oh so broke :sad:

    Float trip
    run the bases at Busch Stadium
    some major concerts--Aerosmith, Metallica, Zac Brown Band
    Caving in other states, the wild caves, even a really good one near here
    Walk in the redwood forest
    visit wine country
    eat & drink my way across italy
    See the rock & gem exhibit at the smithsonian
    go on a dig for fossils somewhere in the US
    go deep sea fishing--the kind where I need a seat belt so the monster fish can't pull me in!
    spend a month in the carribean
    photograph the grand canyon
    see an opera in the Sydney Opera House
    visit ireland
    travel the country when i retire
    if money wasn't an object--get a PhD

    lost count there, but that is what I can think of so far.

    oh--almost forgot one--take a NASCAR for a joy ride!!!!!!

    Just thought of another couple of things ->>..


    - Have a deep fried mars bar.
    - Go to the great wall of china and say "wow, this is one great wall".
    - Learn to say no.
    - Name my own star.
    - Grow my hair to my bum.

    One that i have done...
    But that is always good for people to do..

    Is buy the biggest chocolate bar you can... The ones that are the size of your torso, and give it to a group of homeless people.
