I am 5'6" (small frame) and currently weigh 169. I currently wear size10/12 bottoms and M/L tops. My goal is 135, which will hopefully be a size 6/8. Don't shoot me, but before having my two kids (who are almost 13 & 15) I was a 115 pound size 4. The closest I have gotten to that post children was 127 size 6, but that was 10 years ago!! Now being over 40, I don't think I can achieve that again (or realistically maintain it if I do), so I am shooting for 135-140, to be in the middle of the "normal" BMI range.0

I am just under 5'6'', and I've always been really curvy/muscular. If I'm under 145, I look strange and almost a bit sickly. So, my goal weight is 150. (I look best as a size 8/10, so that's what I'm aiming for.)0

I am 5'7" and currently around 170, I wear a 10/12. My goal is 155-160 and a size 8. The last time I was a size 8, I weight 149 but I have a lot more muscle than I used to so I think another 10-15 should do it. It seems like it is taking forever though!0

5'7" - started at 165 and am currently at 153. My goal is 140 however when I had a BMR done, I was told my ideal weight should be 149. It's taken 6 months to get here, I'll see how I feel once I hit 149! I've definitely gone down in size - from a 10/12 to a 6/8.
We are exactly the same! I'm 5'7 and 153. I'm a large frame girl, with curves. I'm wearing mostly 8's now but I need to do some shopping becuase my pants sag in the bootie.0 -

I'm 5'8" and currently 175.6 and I'm a "slightly-too-tight-but-don't-want-to-buy-bigger" size 10. At my highest ever (college) I was about 185 and a size 12.
My goal weight is to get back to my pre-husband weight of about 152 and a size 6-8, although I'd really love to make that 145 and a size 4-6. No big deal if I stop at 150 as I was in good shape then. Time will tell I suppose!!0 -
Started at 292 and am currently 191. I wear mostly 14s and some 12s. My body shape and the current trend for low rise jeans don't mix! I am 5'8" with a large frame. My first goal is going to be 160 then I am going to have my body fat tested again and decide where to go from there. I seriously doubt I go lower than 150 though. I would love to be a size 8 when all is said and done.0

I am 5'8.5" and 160, my dress pants are size 8 and loose but my jeans are either 8 or 10 and depending on the brand 10 fits better. My goal weight is 145, but I am pretty happy now, would love to get to the 150's and see if my size changes, my daughter gets married in June and I want to be very fit for that. I am 47 and in the best shape that I have been in for several years. MFP has really helped me to stay focused.0

I'm 5'7" Currently 185, size 14. I'm going for a goal of 145 or size 6 pants, whichever comes first. (I want to gain muscle!) I was a size 8/9 my freshman year of high school at 139lbs, but was all baby fat/flab. (Haven't worn a single digit size since :sad: )
I read a thread on here where a girl started lifting heavy and only lost 1lb over a few months, but dropped from a 12 to a 6!!! So I think I can do it! (Her pictures are amazing.)0 -

Well, I used to be 5'7". A few days ago I was measured at the doctor's office and told I'm closer to 5'6". Apparently I'm not just losing around the waist and hips, but off my height too. (Actually, my bones probably settled differently after pregnancy, but saying I lost weight by losing height is funnier)
Anyway, I'm currently 164 pounds, and in a medium (8?) shirt, though I'm still mostly wearing my larges that I got to replace the XLs a couple months ago. Today I wore a fitted button up medium shirt and have gotten compliments. Pants, I'm hanging out in a 11-12, which is funny with all my curves I'd have thought the junior size 11 wouldn't fit too well. I still wear two size 14 pants, as they are very nice slacks and although baggy they still look OK and I can't convert my work wardrobe right now. Skirts with elastic waists have been a lifesaver, work-wise.
At my highest weight, 210, I wore a tight size 16 in pants (probably should have been in 18s honestly) and XL in shirts.
When I was last 143 (thinnest weight post-puberty), I wore a size 6-ish top and size 8 pants. I am shooting for a 21% BF, if that puts me in size 6-8 pants I will be so happy and proud of myself. I have a size 4 sister in law, she's a tiny thing and I don't think I could be in a size 4 unless I shaved off my hip bone bumps, so once I hit a size 6 I'll know I'm as small as I can ever be.0 -
I am 5'7" and my goal is between 160 and 180 pounds. I have a large frame, so I don't think I will ever be smaller than a size 10. How tall are you, how much do you weigh and what size are you?
I am 5'7 as well and I am in a size 10...173lbs.....
goal currently is 165...but I set small one's and re-evaluate as I go...

I am 5'7 and 161. I currently wear a medium shirt and 8/10 pants depending on the style or manufacturer.
I started at 210 with a size 12/14 pants and L/XL shirts.
Until I started this losing weight I thought that I was large frame and would never reach a size 8. My husband was always convinced that I could. He was right and I was wrong. (and I hate to admit that)
