I had gained... But I've lost it, thank goodness!
My weigh in today (8/4) is 362.40 -
Good job SuzMac1981!!! I believe any loss is a good loss! I've been averaging .4 lbs/week since Valentines Day... SLOW, and frustrating, but, if I continue at that rate, it's 20 pounds a year - and it's better than not losing anything over the years like I've been doing! Just have to STAY THE COURSE and not give up - even when there's a slip up (that's usually when I quit)... But NOT this time!!! Hope everyone's having a good week!!
Oh - and as for the weigh ins - NO you do NOT have to weigh in Sat. You can weigh any day of the week- it's just the last day of each week is Sat.
I'm way up from last week right now - gotta get it back down by Sat. a.m.!! yikes!0 -
I agree with OBX--slow and steady is the way to go! I started at this in January and I could have had a quicker weight loss if I completely deprived myself of all the things I love to eat and drink, but in the end that plan would likely backfire because I would get tired of feeling deprived. For me this journey is about a lifestyle change rather than a diet!
I'm out of town on vacation right now, so I won't be weighing in this week--I only weigh in on my scale so I get a consistent read. Hope you guys are all doing great!!!0 -

Thank you! I joined that "Kickin' the cr@p out of August" challenge and every day is more challenging than the next! I think it's really helped in my weight loss... I am down another 1.2 pounds this morning! But I am going to save it for my "weigh in" for this challenge next week. :happy:

Hey ladies! Just wanted to check in to see how everyone is doing. Also I wanted to let you know that my goal for this challenge has changed, as I recently found out that I'm expecting! It is still early--just over 6 weeks--so keep your fingers crossed that all goes well! My goal is to basically maintain, or at most gain about a pound between now and the challenge end. I don't want my lack of weight loss to negatively impact the group total loss, so if it is okay I will continue to post, but maybe you can just not keep tally of my weight in the group goals. Let me know what you think!0

149.4 for me today....ugh. Way too much sodium these past few days, and these hormones are definitely taking a negative toll on my system--I feel so bloated. Hopefully that number will not be any higher next week. I've been staying at or under my maintenance calories, so I don't believe that all of it is true weight gain.

HANG IN THERE!! I've been up to, but just keep on logging and don't quit. Take a break from trying so hard, but don't quit! Sometimes we need a break from the pressure we put on ourselves. If you don't stay with it, you could be back up 10 pounds in no time and then you will be SUPER mad at yourself for stopping... Trust me, I've done it 10 billion times before! I've only been losing 1/2 pound a MONTH lately - BUT, if I 'quit', I guarantee you I will start gaining instantly. You can do it!!0
