i could not live without crunchy nut corn flakes with sweatened soya milk! lol!
i also love co-co pops or shredded wheat. all of which are around 200 cal's for 40g's with 100ml of soya milk. i sometimes push the boat out with maple crunch with activia fat free vanilla yogurt and fresh friut, which is more cal's!
sometimes i just eat cerial for breakfast and lunch as its easy and low cal and fills you up. cerial haters are weird, ha ha ha ha!

Honey Square (Fiber One 80 calories!!!)0 -
I am a cereal addict. :blushing: Its great for curing a sweet tooth at night. Love Gluten Free Cinnamon Chex and the Honey ones too. and I have recently discovered Chocolate Cheerios *drool* but I am always wanting to try healthier options bc I know the sugar in these are terrible. just don't want to buy one and then hate it. lol0

I love cereal.
Kashi makes great cereal; I think its Kashi Slim. It has good carbs (imagine that!) and a lot of protein. Its kinda high in calories for me, about 210 or 220, but not too bad actually.0 -
I haven't been eating cereal for some time since I am starving a short time later..I opt for a meal replacement shake that I love that leaves me satisfied for an easy 3 hours.0

I like the Original Fiber One Cereal (with 57% fiber) and I add fresh blueberries. Yummy and healthy.0
-
My faves:
Kashi go lean berry crumble
Kashi go lean honey almond flax
Special K (most varieties)
Fiber One 80 calorie cereal thats like cinnamon toast crunch kinda lol0 -
I really like kashi strawberry fields. It's only about 120 calories for 1 whole cup. The flakes stay crispy in the milk and the dried strawberries plump up. Yum!0
-
Right now I eat bran flakes with dried cranberries or dried cherries...but really my favorite all time is Lucky Charms..yum0
-
Multi-grain cheerios! them!0
-
I eat cereal for desert some times too(good to know I'm not the only one: )). I usually have captain crunch and soy milk if it's desert replacement.
Captain crunch tears up the rough of my mouth for some reason tho0 -
Kashi Berry Crumble...seriously the BEST "good for you cereal" out there!! IMO...0
-
I really love fruity pebbles and peanut butter capt'n crunch. haha unfortunately those aren't good options so I usually fill a ziploc baggy with cheerios and eat them dry throughout the morning0
-
Captain Crunch, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Sugar Crisp.
There is a reason I'm here... haha0 -
Raisin Bran or Frosted Flakes.....But I love to also do it old school how mom use to do it, Corn Flakes with strawberries and bananas...yummy0
-
Yeah, favorite is Frosted Flakes and Peanut Butter Cap'n Crunch.
If you ask me what cereal I am eating since starting MFP, it's Kashi Go Lean or All Bran.0 -
Favorite Healthy: Multigrain Cheerios
Favorite Unhealthy: Fruit Loops0 -
Who knew thread about cereal could get so testy! Yeesh!
Anyway, FiberPlus Cinnamon Oat Crunch. I add it to my protein shake occasionally when I want a higher-carb breakfast.0 -

Surprisingly Kix Cereal and Rice Krispies.
People may think that health food brands will be much better for them when really the only way that they're healthier than Kix and rice krispies is that they have more protein. ( Don't get me wrong, if you need the protein, the health brands are perfect)
Kix has 110 calories per 1.25 cups and Rice Krispies has 130 calories for every 1.25 cups. They are low in sugar and made wih 100% whole grains which also means that they will be digested slowest which means that you will stay full longer.0 -

I don't care about protein. But I do care about ingredients. I consider those cereals unhealthy due to their ingredient lists. They aren't as bad as some others, but they aren't great. Makes me sad too -- used to love Rice Krispies.0 -
Captain crunch tears up the rough of my mouth for some reason tho
So I'm not the only one! I always look at the box in the store and my inner monologue is as follows:
"OOOHHH!!! Captain Crunch! I haven't had that in so long! But...wait...do I really feel like having a sore mouth until the box is gone? No...I don't. Dammit. I guess I'll get Cheerios again"
You'd think after all these years the makers would think to round the corners down a bit :laugh:0 -
