Decline push ups

Am I the only one, or are decline push ups actually a bit easier than regular push ups? Is that because it's a different set of muscles, where I just happen to be stronger? I was just curious to see if anyone else found that to be the case, since I assumed they'd be harder.

They are. Because range of motion is shortened.0

Let's just put it this way for me, I can do about 40 normal push ups and zero decline. I can push my body up all the way and hold it for maybe a second before I collapse back down. I guess I have no strength in those muscles. Very awesome that you can do them easier though!0
