Well thanks rkoontz on the good luck, but unfortunately I am up 3.2 pounds this week. I do have mother nature with me, so I'm hoping its just excess water weight, but we'll see. I'm going to weigh myself as soon as she leaves to see if I have gone down. On plus side, I also did my monthly measurements and have loss a total of 16 inches throughout my body. So I'm happy about that. Just want the weight to come off with it. I'm starting Chalean Extremem all over tomorrow, so I think she'll help a lot.0

WHO WANTS TO BE A HOT MOM? - GROUP RESULTS, Week 6 (8/29)
Hello, Hot Moms!! Check out the weekly stats below.
We have lost over 200 pounds!!
Here's a quick summary of the past 6 weeks. I re-did the numbers to account for all the late check-ins.
Way to knock it out of the park!! As a group, we lost more pounds this week than the previous 4 weigh-ins! This is going to make a HUGE difference in reaching our goal weights by New Year’s.
Is anyone wondering what happened to Group 5? Their captain hasn’t checked in since August 1, and they only had a couple of members who checked in regularly. Their posts were fewer and coming days apart, and I was afraid we’d lose them. Group 7 “adopted” the active Group 5 members – :flowerforyou: many THANKS to Group 5's captain, wanna_be_fit!!:flowerforyou: And look what happened when the groups joined together!
As a combined group, these ladies are losing more together than they were apart! And they are more active on their group postings as well. Having a larger active group can make a big difference. If you want to see how the other groups are doing, then check out their threads below.

Well ladies, today was my little man's first day of kindergarten. I had to get him on the bus. Last year I drove him to 4K the 2 days a week he went. I got teary eyed last year when I took him the first day, but I still had him around 3 days a week last year. This year he wants to ride the bus to school because he's a big boy that gets to go to school everyday. He did let me wait at the corner with him and give him a hug and kiss when the bus came. And yes, mom did cry when walking back into the house. I'm starting to cry now just thinking about how my little man has grown up! AWWWW! What's a mom to do? Go back to work I guess! That's what the hubby would say anyway, lol!!!0

Yeah, I volunteered last year when he was in 4K. Would like to again this year. I am definitely not jumping right back into my career, but I may get my dream job which I applied for, then I will take it, otherwise, I just took a casual status position to just have something to do besides working out and housework! I would go crazy! But definitely do not take one second of any day for granted that you have with your child. It goes by way too quickly!0

Well all you hot mom's. As I told you earlier this week, I did have a 3.2 pound weight gain, which I though had to alot with mother nature being with me. I re-weighed again today with the scale showing me being down 2.2 pounds back down. So I will weigh again on monday with my normal weigh in resuming on wednesday! I plan on having the additional pound off by monday with more being off on wednesday!
I agree with Med79, lets make september our month! Lets move group 1 into the lead ladies! Good luck!0 -

Get your water in and do something active today I love taking my babies to the playground and actually playing with them I'm sure it's funny for some to watch a 265 pound woman climbing ladders, going down slides, and crossing chain bridges but it's really a lot of fun and a good workout too0 -

Here's a quick summary of the past 7 weeks.
After 7 weeks, we have a solid number of moms checking in.
Did any of you realize that we crossed the quarter mark on August 29th? We are more than 25% through this challenge!! The time is flying fast! In order to reach our goal weights, we need to remember that EVERY DAY counts. Right now, there are 115 days left in this challenge. Let’s keep moving and losing!
Next week, on our 8-week mark, I’ll run another individual assessment to see how many members are on track to reach their December 31st goal weights.

Sorry I haven't been around lately, here's why!
So I have to go in today to have an ultrasound. I've been having some pain in my lower abdomen. Went to doctor yesterday. At first they were considering it being my appendix, but my WBC count is good. So their back up plan was that I have cysts on my ovaries. So I get to go in today for the ultrasound to check. Kinda scared that something may be seriously wrong with me. I first thought I was just in a slump with not wanting to workout or eat right. But when the pains started happening, it kinda made sense on why I've been on this slump! Just hope it's taken care of so I can get back to it! Wish me luck all!0 -

Well it turns out that I do have a cyst, but apparently it's nothing that should be causing the pain that I've been having. Have to wait for my doctor to talk to the radiologist monday before we decide what to do next! Hoping the pain might just go away on it's own so I can get back to my workouts!0

Holy crap. Did we just collectively lose only 5.9 lbs this week?! 39 members weighing in, and only 5.9 lbs?! Time for a progress report!!
Below, you will find our latest progress chart. I’ve calculated everyone’s “% to GW.” As of today, if you want to reach your goal weight, you will need to have a 34% or higher. To make it even more fun, I calculated your estimated weight loss by 12/31 and also your estimated weight on 12/31. These calculations are based on your total weight loss for the past 8 weeks, and I think you’ll find them very interesting.

:ohwell: [SIGH]...I’m still in the white group. But I’m SO CLOSE to getting in the yellow group! I’m tempted to change my 12/31 goal weight, but according to my favorite iPod app, “Target WEIGHT for Adults,” if I continue to lose weight at the same rate I lost for the past 2 weeks, I will reach by goal weight by 12/18/2011. There’s still hope for me! So….my GW stays the same for now. I’ll see what the next 4-week progress report says.
FYI - The next progress report will be posted the week of October 10, just DAYS after our half-way mark. It’s time to kick our weight loss in to high gear!

Sorry I haven't checked in for awhile. I have had quite the gain while being sick. I haven't worked out in 2 weeks and haven't been eating the best, I'm guilty! But I'm getting back in there, I'm not giving up! I will check in next week with my weight! Hopefully with a loss!0

Thanks Marie. I am back, back with a vengence! LOL!!!
So tomorrow I'm starting my 13 day carb cleanse. I do this from time to time when I've "fallen off the bandwagon" (so called) it just gets me back on track, then I will start eating carbs like normal. And when I say carbs, I just stop eating bread, pasta, and potatoes, plus sweets. So I'm starting that tomorrow along with really getting back on track with my workouts. Problem with that being, I think I pulled something in my shoulder or I have tendonitis again. Either way it hurts, so I won't be doing any weights for awhile. But at least I can get my cardio going again. May try going to chiro on monday to see if he can realign or if I need go doc again and get a cortisone shot. Only thing that helped last time I had tendonitis in this same shoulder 2 years ago. Hope it's not that, it's a pain! But anyway, may need some extra support in next 13 days! Hope you all are having a great weekend so far!0 -
So today I start day 1 of 13 of what I call my "carb cleanse". Which means for the next 13 days I am not eating bread, potatoes, pasta, or desserts (sweets). Lets just say today isn't going so great, I'm already craving the stuff, but I have not given in yet, and I will not. 13 days is not that long, and I've found by doing this in the past that I will kickstart my weight loss again since I've been doing poorly the past month due to illness. I will log in daily on how my day is going, I know I will need some support on this.0

Well I weighed in today for the start of my new journey, the journey to bring me back to where I once was heading since I took a detour and became a little lost. Well I believe I have found the road back to the highway to my destination, so I should find my way back. I know it's going to be a hard & tedious journey, all uphill for the beginning, but I will eventually be able to go downhill. On my detour I have gained 14 pounds. Not sure exactly how much weight crept back onto me, but lets pray that it comes off as quickly as it jumped back on! Thank you to all of you who have been supporting me! I appreciate each and every one of you!0

Well have day 3 is coming to an end. I actually have been doing really well staying away from the bread, pasta, potatoes, and sweets. I have been substituting things for them. One problem with that being I've been trying to knock the sugar out of my diet, but by doing that and substituting with other foods, my sodium amount has gone up. What is a girl to do?0
