anyone else stuck at work want to join me tonight for the 1000 desk push ups? Rules are simple, Have Desk, do push ups. Place feet about 3 to 4 feet back from desk and do pushups with your hands on edge of desk.

wow, impressive challenge! I've done 500 crunches in one night without thinking much about it. I was watching some of "my" shows and laid on the floor and did them 25 reps at a time. Then, I did 200 and 100 push ups the following night. Anyway, enough of me, good luck to you!!!0

you can do it, I have 350 down. push ups and chest have always been my strong suit though. I am shooting for 500 in the first hour. I have 15 minutes left...0

How Many Calories Does a Push-up Burn
Different experts give different answers, but the most common range is between one-half and 1 calorie per push-up for an average male. Heavier people will burn more, while lighter people (including most women) will burn slightly less To burn the same number of calories as 20 minutes of moderate jogging, a person would have to do somewhere between 300 and 600 push-ups
so since these are desk pushups I am going to go with the .5 calories per pushup as I am a heavier guy... so this will be 500 calories for me burnt by the time I am done....0 -
