I will be doing L1 Day 3 later!
Only thing I've noticed is my weight going up, not down though since I started. I hope it's just water retention or something - did anyone else find this in the first few days?0 -
Sort ladies, but I failed. Day 1 was horrible. Day 2 I pushed through but was even worse. Day 3 I shut it off after 5 minutes and didn't look back. Took me 2 days after that to be able to sit and stand back up without pain in my thighs... But my 9 year old asked me today why I gave up. I told him it was too hard, and mommy was out of shape. I need to stick to walking. He looked disappointed and gave me a pep talk. He said walking is good but you do it all the time. If you do something that's hard, you will feel better when it will get easier. And that's how you get in shape. By doing really hard things until they aren't so hard anymore. Like homework he said. Ugh! When did my 9 year old get so smart? So, back on the wagon today. Made it through day 1 again. And I WILL stick with it because my son is watching. And he is amazing and deserves a healthy mom that doesn't quit.0

Day 3 (level 1) done! Those side lunges/arm lifts and squats with weights are a killer though! It burns my arms so much! I don't find any of the ab workouts in level 1 that hard, but I think it may be because I already had been doing some bicyle crunches in the last few weeks so am probably used to them - hopefully the ab workouts get harder in levels 2 & 3.0

Keep going! The pain really gets less after the first 2 or 3 days. I started doing lunges last week (before starting the 30DS) & I felt I couldn't sit down for like 2 or 3 days, but now I can do them fine without as much pain.0 -

Aww what an awesome son you have! Keep pushing! He will be proud of you, and what an awesome feeling that must be0 -

I've gained a couple of pounds and today will be D8L1... it IS my TOM but I don't think I've done anything different in terms of dieting, and today should be my last day (fingers crossed!). If anything I thought I've lot an inch or two here or there, but I've been taking crazy weight lifting classes. Hopefully its muscle weight that we have0 -
I'm on Day 3 and I am sooooooo sore!!!!!!!! I burn between 450-500 calories per my HRM, but you can enter it as Circuit Training and its about the same. And I can feel my stomach muscles, biceps, and thighs are aching, but I am am ready to continue!0

How much weight do you use? I never get a bicep workout "/0 -
Just finished Level1/Day 2 and did 30 mins. on the stair-treadmill. I feel as if an elephant ran over me.0

I've ordered my DVD ut thought I;d have a look on Youtube - did 7 minutes and my arms already bloody ache!! I'm going to die0

Day 6 done but I increased my weights. Think I went a step too far though as I couldn't manage to complete the sets so will adjust them down a little (I have a great set of variable weights that you can add/remove 250g weights)
Managed to do almost all the cardio all the way through. Another couple of days on level 1 then I think I'll be ready to move on.0 -

Keep going - your son is right, you will feel great when it starts to get easier. I spent the first 3 days with my quads burning. Just completed day 6 on level 1 and I feel great. I really cannot believe how much fitter I feel already.0 -
i started it again today....did it a few months back and loved it! wont make the full 30 days tho as goin on holiday on the 21st. also doing 5k run 3x a week, swimming 2x a week n weights 2x a week.... want my bikini body for goin away0

Day 5 is done. It was definitely better than Day 4. I think I am going to up my hand weights (I am only using 2 lbs) and stop doing some modified movements (except for push ups... I could never do a full push up).0
-
Just finished L1 D2. I'm hoping by day 5 i can get through it without my knees bothering. its so weird I usually dont have this issure but my left knew cracks alot! as much as i go to the gym i never feel it but when i do the 30DS i instantly feel it. i must say its great that i can do this and speed rope for 15 minutes a day when I am not able to get to the gym. I'll post my results for level 1 once im done with it.0

Day 4 (Level 1) done! I actually managed to do the side lunges exercise without stopping today for the first time! My arms must be getting stronger. I don't think I will ever be able to do the un-modified push ups though! It is hard enough doing the modified ones!0

Today is L1D4 for me! After the first day I was soo sore! Still sore, but I am keeping at since it seems a majority have said the soreness subsides by day 5. Can't wait for that! In addition to 30DS, I am watching my caloric intake and doing additional 30 minutes of cardio almost everyday. Hoping to see some dramatic results, I need it! Good job everyone to keeping it up!0

This can happen with strength training as you will be building muscles. I have seen several posts of people who stayed the same or gained a little in the first 6-10 days but then the weight starts coming off!0 -
I recently started the 30 day shred. I'm on L1 D3.. I watched the video the day before I actually started it and thought, "This is gonna be easy!" Boy was I wrong!!!! The first day, I couldn't complete each circuit without stopping several times. Today, I managed to get thru most of the circuits with very little breaks... I have to say, I am getting better at it. I do find at times that I have to talk myself into doing it but once completed, I feel so good about it.
Good Luck to everyone!!!!0
