Milk gives you calcium! That is so important for bone health!
Might I suggest nonfat milk! It's a happy medium, really.0 -
I use rice milk, or almond milk, it has less fat and more calcium.0
-
I use 1%!0

I use 1%!
Ditto! Well, at least most days I do.0 -
If it fits into your numbers, have it. You're not going to get in trouble for having something.
I'm not really a milk drinker, I just do 1/4 c. on my oatmeal. Plus, I like to save my cals for food.0 -
Milk is great. I actually had to cut back on it to save some calories though. I used to easily go through 2 gallons a week, and that was skim milk, but it's still about 180 calories per glass and I'd go through 2 or 3 glasses in a sitting!0

I eat yogurt or cheese or cottage cheese instead of drinking it. Personally, I want something to chew on instead of drinking it0
-
I tried other milks -almond, coconut, soy- but skim milk is my favorite. I say if you want it and it fits in, go for it.0

I prefer 2% but usually only have 8 oz a day.0

GOT MILK!!!?? Can't live without it here. 2% and chocolate on a daily basis. Gotta have it.. I make it happen in my diary. And if I don't get at least 1 cup of chocolate during the day....someone....is gonna die.0

I drink milk. Usually whole cream, as it has less lactose in it. Same with butter and hard cheeses, and fermented dairy (yoghurts).
It's very nutritious for mammals - ever seen how quick a suckling calf grows - even without added bovine growth hormone?
I don't recommend much processed dairy (fat reduced), research shows it's all very insulinogenic.
I did the GOMAD diet to bulk up once for that specific reason. Worked good.
Try other mammals 'milks and nut milks for variety.
Enjoy food0 -
I like milk ~ I drink nonfat or 1%...just have always preferred it. But I also enjoy almond milk0

From what I've heard, not only it's healthy for you, but it also helps you lose weight. The calcium lessens fat absorption in your body as it acts like soap in your digestive system. (Don't judge, I saw it on a BBC show.)
Moreover, I drink 2% milk every morning and I have no troubles meeting my goals.
Good luck!0 -

I've substituted regular milk (nonfat) for unsweetened vanilla almond milk because it has less calories and sugar than milk. However, last week I tried Smart Balance Heart Healthy (or Health) Fat Free milk. It was so creamy and delicious, I am going to be sure and buy it again for a treat! Fat free, with all sorts of good stuff in it anyway.
Moderation is key. Also, how your body reacts to different foods.0 -
Milk is important. The one thing I have decided not to do is quit milk, so I drink semi skimmed milk in my tea/coffee, on cereal and use it in cooking. I feel any dietary changes we make have to be sustainable and something you can realistically do long term, so for me this means keeping milk in my diet - also I wont quit a spoon of sugar in my tea either. I have cut down by half and that is good enough.0

I personally don't drink milk, but thats because it gives me a stomach ache... every once in a while though when I get a craving for milk, then I'll have it.
I do however eat greek yogurt.. and that I like a lot.0 -
i have soy milk to save on calories, also just bought some coconut milk didnt think it was gonna be v nice but it is delicious0

Milk is important, especially for women. I should drink more of it.0
