    I decided recently to go from balding to close cropped. Also doing the goatee. i think it makes me look a little mean tho. I really like the way the goatee looks now that I have lines and structure on my cheeks and jaw. Didnt look as good with a rounder face.

    If you like the way closely cropped looks, then go all the way. What else do you have to loose, the rest of your hair? You are already on that path, why delay what is going to happen anyway? I knew it was going to happen to me by the time I was 18yrs old. When it got down to my hair looking like mange, I pulled the trigger and did the deed.

    feels kinda weird having a dude give me this advice. i feel like i should ask you if these pants make my butt look big next.

    Ouch!!! I see your point. BUT as someone who has been down this path, I know how hard it is to make the jump.

    I love a thick head of salt & pepper hair, but that seems pretty rare! So, if I can't have that, a shaved head is hot! Although some guys have weird shaped heads! But for the most part, hell yeah! Love a goatee too. I wonder though... what make guys think there is anything sexy about the "just beard" thing or a soul patch. Very few guys can pull the SP off (yes, it can be done, but it's about as rare as the thick salt & pepper! But the just beard thing... GROSS! I ran into a guy awhile back that had that & I was this close >--< to saying, WTH??? He was hot except for THAT! Total turn off. (sorry if I offend any amish out there! lol)

    In MOST cases, bald = hot. Though I think a REALLY, REALLY close buzz looks better than totally clean shaven.... not sure why.

    (the exception, for me, would be guys with really wide bald heads... not hot)
