Story:
Apparently, some of my relatives where some of the original British settlers.

Many generations back my Native American grandmother ran away with my British grandfather, had to live under an allies, yet was found and murdered for betraying the tribe.

Also, recently found out a grandfather fought for the rebels in the American Civil War and was killed.

on my fathers side.. related to jose gaspar.. or john gomez.. (3rd in line to throne at that time to king of spain but turned pirate.. )

I'm Iroquois and German. I think you need more than two parts to really be a mutt though, n'est-ce pas?

My mom is a full blooded Jew and my dad was born in France. I know Judaism is a religion but we look ( and act) the part. My brother and I have dark skin and dark hair. People are constantly trying to figure out what ethnicity we are. I get Spanish a lot and he gets Italian due to his jew nose. My boyfriend has blond hair blue eyes, I can't help but wonder what our kids may look like!

Mom's side is mostly Scottish with some Cherokee thrown in.

Dad's side is Finnish.

My husband is half German (as he puts it) with his family mostly hailing from Britain on his Dad's side and Germany on his Mother's side.

Also, my great x like 9 cousin slept with Napoleon Bonaparte, and had a *kitten* child with him. We have relatives in Ohio with the last name Bonaparte. So yes, I am a *kitten* relative of a short dictator.

But I mostly identify myself as a Scot. I have my paternal great-grandfather's eyes. Super dark and deep set. He left Scotland with his brothers as indentured servants to escape the Potato Famine. After three years, he figured his passage to American (the indenture) should be paid off and ran away.

Italian and German and not sure what else from my mom's side of the family. My grandmother never knew anything about her father. Back in the early 1900's, My grandmother's mother was working as a cook in a coal mining camp and had an affair with one of the married miners and got pregnant (I know SCANDALOUS!!!!) she never married and raised the twin girls on her own.

English and Irish from my dad's side of the family.

I'm all white...blonde, green eyes, fair skin...however my ex husband is mexican--so my daughter is what she calls "a little brown"--black in the summer, dark hair and dark eyes. People are weird and sometimes rude...one lady actually ?complimented? me in a restaurant at my decision to adopt. UM, no...i'm pretty sure i popped her out all on my own, thanks.
other kids at parties or babysitter's house don't believe i'm her mom. (pic of us together on my profile)

My moms side is mostly Irish

My dads side is mostly native american.. My grandmother is 1/3 native american (she has nooo clue what tribe)

Theres also some english, scottish etc involved but those 2 are the most prominent.

Most of the people on my moms side have blue or green eyes.
