Really? I had alligator and it was pretty delicious, but I have heard that it needs to be prepared very carefully or it gets quite tough.0 -
Fried calamari at the bar... probably not a good choice for the first time trying it. Good thing I was already drinking.0

Sugar free childrens chewable vitamin gums.0

3) Horse
4) Menudo (yech!)0 -
fried ants or swordfish. The swordfish was quite good. I couldn't get past knowing I was eating ants to enjoy them.0

I've had fried gator at this seafood place in St Augustine. I loved it!0
-
Hákarl, or also known as "fermented shark", from Iceland. Now I know why the alcohol is so strong there0

Either blood pudding or frog legs...Blood pudding surprisingly has no flavor, but nasty texture. Frog legs were pretty good except for the stringy tendons0

armadillo0

Ostrich, Aligator both which were lovely.0

Alligator
Rattlesnake
Bear - did not like it0 -
Escargot and bear.. Both I thought were rather tasty.

Well - i live in Asia so i get a whole host of crazy stuff on my plate at times.
- Balut: a fertilized duck embryo that is boiled alive and eaten in the shell.
- turtle hotpot (which the live turtle put into the boiling water at the table)
- bulls penis (duh !! Didnt realise what it was till someone told me later)
- plus the usual assortment of ducks tongues / chickens feet etc....0 -

Horse milk in Kazakhstan -- it smells and tastes like straight-up vinegar! :P Horse meat tastes a bit like beef, just a bit tougher... I think I'll stick to just riding horses from now on!0
