logging walking with stroller

I noticed in the exercise logging there is an option of choosing walking/pushing a 15lb child. Do I choose this option AND the option of however long and fast I walked? For example, if I walked at a 3.5mph pace for 60 min with my child in a stroller, do I log both options or just one? If I choose just the push/pull with stroller it only amounts to 160 calories per hour, and if I choose just the 3.5mph walking its 260 calories. Thanks!

When I take my son on walks I just log how long I walked and at what pace (2.5 mph, 3 mph. etc.). I never know what the pushing/pulling stroller means exactly so I figure whatever amount of calories I burned just walking it's probably only a bit more since I'm pushing a stroller and not a significant amount.

I've noticed that this setting is pretty messed up because obviously you should burn more calories pushing a stroller than without, but for some reason it logs as fewer calories burned. I usually use the speed option instead, or if I'm really trying to get exercise by walking with the kids, I wear my HRM and log actual calories burned. I have 2 kids and walk with a double stroller (combined weight of over 100 lbs), and my neighborhood is hilly, so I always burn way more than MFP calculates.
