This is great-I would have never thought of it in that way, but I guess it could happen. I am married with 3 kiddos-so I am just here for the support, but those who meet on here-how fun. I did meet my husband on line though.

Haha there was a thread like this a long time ago... I can't remember how it ended...

I believe it ended badly for a vast majority of people as they were behaving inappropriately with the flirting and innuendo (under the guise of "It's all in good fun"), until they were caught by their significant others or spouses, resulting in much awkwardness and tapdancing from the previous deceptions, or a complete breach of trust in what relationship they did have in the first place.

Not bad for those of us with NO spouses or significant others!

I think there is nothing wrong with a little flirting or crush'in, even if you have a significant other, as long as its all in good fun.

I met my BF on MFP. He had some generic avatar and no pics when I friend requested him. He was local, had quit smoking a few months before I did, had lost a tremendous amount of weight, and there were a few other things we had in common that I noticed when I first replied to him in a thread about King Cakes

We have been dating almost 5 months now. He is pretty awesome

That such a sweet love story, thanks for sharing!!

No crushes or flirting for me...maybe I should though so I'll take this thing called weight loss a little more seriously!

  • I don't have any MFP crushes except my girlfriend Robyn, who I adore. Glad it's not just a cyber fling, and I get to wake up to her next to me every day! We joined MFP together, and now it's one of our most common topics of conversation. We love this site, but we don't look at it as a social media outlet, but rather a personal improvement tool.

For those of you out there who are single and footloose, go for it!

None for me! I'm too socially inept to flirt...even online! XD And no crushes...not here anyways ;p Although, I have seen some back and forth flirting happening on the occasional status. Why is it always started by guys? Srsly...

Yes, I was stalked by this lovely woman .. and she captured me (and my heart) 5 months ago.

Since we met on MFP and have a common goal of losing weight, when we are in a restaurant she doesn't look at me all crazy when I look something up in the MFP iPhone app like others might. Hell, she will ask me to look stuff up for her half the time which is great that we have *that* in common!

If only it wouldn't put in into crushing debt to visit some people. Alas there seems to be few people from the frostry land of Southern Ontario :(

Southern Ontario is not all that frosty these days... I'm melting today!

Shh it's all to trick the Americans...

Right. It's freezing in Canada. We live in igloos. ;)
... I actually had someone ask me that once when I was in Florida...
