It varies for me. Generally I try having the majority of my calories earlier in the day, so my dinners are usually 250-350 calories... but on days like today where I got tied up at work and didn't have anything but veggie broth for lunch so I could eat at my desk and keep working, my dinner will be more around 400 calories. I ~try~ not to snack after dinner, but if I do I make smoothies or have some raw fruit or veg.

I usually have too many calories left at the end of the day and can snack before bed. Some cottage cheese or something. Sometimes, on workout days, I have a huge deficit and net what could be considered dangerously low. :O

My entire day is planned out...I do't leave calories for dinner, they're already planned out and in there. I log my entire day first thing in the morning. I rarely have to make adjustments to it. I usually have a good 1,100 calories after 3:00 PM, including some snacks and dinner.

I try to leave between 650 and 900 for supper depending on the day and what we're having.

I eat between 200-400 calories at breakfast and lunch, which leaves me between 700-1100 calories for dinner/snacks/booze. Unless I get a really good workout in, at which point I (usually) have a 100-200 calorie snack and end up with 900-1300 for dinner, etc. I like having that cushion so that if I want to cook something fancy I can enjoy good-sized portions, or so that if I'm feeling snacky as I read or watch TV at night I can do it without stress. I just make sure my smaller daytime meals are fairly well-balanced and have plenty of protein/fat so that I'm satiated and have plenty of energy for daily activity.

I save at least 1000 for dinner and after. Breakfast is 200ish and lunch is 200ish. I have learned that the evening is the roughest part of the day for me so I make sure I leave lots of wiggle room.

normally about 500 during the day and between 1500-3000 at night.

Reason being that I sleep a LOT better with a full belly. (of carbs specifically)

If I'm working a morning or afternoon shift I don't tend to eat very much during the day so I might have 1,000+. I don't like to eat early in the day and I'm not really fond of eating quickly while at work so I tend to eat after work. If I am working an evening shift I "try" to eat something in the afternoon before I go in otherwise I have almost 2000 to get through before I head to bed.

My breakfast and lunch are pretty much the same during the week. About 350 calories for both breakfast and lunch. 200-300 for snacks and the rest for dinner and what is left over is for a sweet treat that night. I like having a big dinner to finish the day.
