    Hi guys,

    I hope that everyone is on here now! How about everyone please post your mileage (in choirgirl's format) up through yesterday so that I can update the thread!

    Here's mine:

    8/1: 5 mile run
    8/2: 3.9 mile run
    8/3: 4.7 mile run
    8/4: 1 mile run
    8/5: 2.7 mile run
    8/6: 14 mile run
    8/7: 5 mile run

    Total mileage for 8/1-8/7: 36.3 miles

    This was actually a pretty heavy mileage week for me!

    8/1: rest
    8/2: 2 : 1 mile swim/1 mile run
    8/3: 3 mile run
    8/4: 1 mile swim
    8/5: 3 mile hike
    8/6: 31 miles (1 mile swim, 24 bike, 6.2 run)
    8/7: rest
    Total Mileage 8/1-8/7: 39

    8/8: 15 miles (spin class/swim)
  • Amazing Quad:

    You can only use cycled miles if you convert them to running/walking miles. Here is the spreedsheet to use for converting cycled miles to running miles. I was not able to make it work until I saved it to my desktop, Likely, you will need to do the same:

    Hi, I'm Bobby! Started training for a 1/2 marathon a couple of weeks ago, so the miles will hopefully be a given for me!

    8/1: 3 mile run
    8/2: weight training
    8/3: 4 mile run
    8/4: 3 mile run
    8/5: weight training
    8/6: 5 mile run
    8/7: 3.25 walk (4.5 mph pace)

    18.5 miles for the week

    The competition officially started on 8/8 and The Amazing Quad is bringing it to them!


    First of all, you all did an OUTSTANDING JOB! :flowerforyou:

    I was looking thru the stats! While they are not official yet, here is what I was able to dig up:

    TEAM MILEAGE AS OF 8/8

    Mars ................................................ 144.95:noway: (Their goal is 200 miles by Thursday:glasses: )

    THE AMAZING QUAD..................... 132.08:wink:

    The RunAways.............................. 131.22

    Across the Ages.............................. 97.14

    This is just from my snopping around and is not official. You all are doing a FANTASTIC job. There are many more teams, but their numbers, so far, don't seem to come close to ours. We're keeping an eye on them. I'm waiting to see if an official spreedsheet is posted & updated frequently.

    I originally thought that we need to report 8/1-8/7 Now I understand that we report our running total every Mon and Thursday.. So, just update your post with your new milage on Monday and Thursday of each week. Please try to do it by 11PM so that we can get our totals in on time. -Thank you.

    Be it as it may, to correct my error, and report the figures thru 8/8, I had to reference your exercise journals to figure out if you'd run on 8/8.

    The next reporting date is Thursday and we'll be ready. Here is what I've reported thus far:

    Top Athlete: Coronalime 54 Miles as of 8/8 -OUTSTANDING WTG!! :flowerforyou:

    Pro Performer: Maureensm 36.3 Miles as of 8/8 -WOW!

    Elite Class: BobbyDaniel 21.5 Miles as of 8/8 -EXCELLENT!

    Elite Class: Choirgirl37 - 21 Miles as of 8/8 -ATAGIRL!

    Let me know if I have anything wrong.

    Okay. We will look for your update. Also, not sure if you included the swimming, but I'm pretty sure we cannot count that.

    Don't forget -the spreadsheet works better if you save it onto your desktop.

    Hahaha ok we'll be a team then.

    Got another run in last night and plan on some more miles today!

    Shall we update this thread every Monday/Thursday morning to get our miles in?

    wow: My 250 will be WAY off...I cant include swimming?? I did 2 miles today alone..ugh

    8/10: 4 mile run, 2.5 mile walk in 27 mins, converts to 1.4 miles
    8/11: 3.25 mile run
    8/12: 7.6 mile bike ride in 31:10, converts to 4.2 miles and weights
    8/13: 6.25 mile run
    8/14: rest day
    Total for week: 22.1 miles
    Total for month: 40.6 miles
