I wish I could have a dog in my flat but the landlord is EVIL

I used to have a Golden Retriver called Buddy but he now lives in the Lake District with an elderly couple and a 2 acre back garden with lots of squirrels and rabbits to chase.

Love love love this thread. I don't have any pets at home because I live alone in an apartment and I'm out and about a lot. I just think that isn't a great environment for most pets. But I grew up on a cattle ranch with lots of dogs and cats and horses and other assorted animals, so I love pets dearly. And I enjoy the pictures of pets who are obviously loved and well cared for.

I have 3 cats:

Minnie is 17. She's been my buddy since I was 11 years old. My mom got her from a friend at work that was going to end up taking her to a shelter. We've had her for 16 years and when my hubby and I got in our own house, we took her with us.



Allie is 2. We adopted her from a shelter in April of this year. We had eyed her since January on the shelters website and by April we had moved so we could have pets and she was still there!!



Zoe is 4 months old. She was born under our deck. Her mom had her and her siblings in late March/early April. We decided to keep her.

His name is Banana, standard wiener dog though.
He's our hairy son and I love him to bits. I swear he's turning into a human. Way too smart....it scares me.

I have two Pembroke Welsh Corgis They're half-sisters (same dad) so it's fun to see the differences in their looks and personalities but they have the same face (different coat colors)

Here's Ein, she's 1.5 years old, sable, with a very sweet personality but she is SUCH A DRAMA QUEEN. Big worry wart. Loves to play and is happiest running around with her little sister or on a nice long walk


This is Zed, she's about 7 months old, she's a little doofus and likes to be very close to me all the time (kind of like how a cat likes to get in your business when you're busy with things... that's Zed), she's kind of a jerk compared to her sister's sweetness but you can tell she means well Her interests are going for rides in the car and destroying rugs

Glad to see some people have more pet than I do. I don't know how to post photos in a post yet but i have 2 dogs and 5 cats.

Abbey Gail - 5yr old Red Pitbull - Found emaciated wandering the streets
Aspyn Layne - 3 yr old White American Bull Dog Boxer Mix - adopted from a shelter to be Abbey's companion
Cobalt Blue - 9 1/2 yr old brown/gray Tabby - Abandoned by his mother and found by my SO he was tiny!
Mango May - 6 yr old SIamese (mix) - my landlord GF (at the time) found her pregnant mom and rescued her.
Shadow Bear - 3 yr old Gray Tuxedo - My SO family found his mom and 3 siblings I raised the together until they weaned.
Gracie - Unknown but I guess over 10 Orange tabby - I was working with a rescue group and got a call about her - she's a nuzzler with missing teeth - I couldn't let her go
Callie - Unknown I guess about 5 or 6 Calico- She came to me pregnant and extremely FERAL. She bit me 5 times and after she weaned her babies and was spayed I tried to kick her out.... she REFUSED to go and now she loves on me daily.
