Thanks!! Took it yesterday. I was taking family photos for our Christmas cards. I got all the pics I need, now I have to design the card.... or take the time shortcut and go online and use a template to order the cards. I love sending Christmas cards every year. :bigsmile:

Mmmmm...work...so much fun.

I met my van pool this morning at 6:30 and there were only 5 cars parked in the entire Park N Ride, which were our 5 riders! HA HA

I met my van pool this morning at 6:30 and there were only 5 cars parked in the entire Park N Ride, which were our 5 riders! HA HA

Our parking deck accomodates approximately 750 cars, I'd say.
This morning, I believe I saw 50 cars.


Do you vanpool due to a long commute (time) or just to be thrify (gas) or ..... other reasons?? All of the above?? Just wondering.

I only live 15 miles from work. It takes me 20 min to get to work and 30 home. When gas prices soared, I re-joined my old van pool. It costs $15 a month to ride in my van and it was costing me $60 to fill up my car each week. The van pool even got a bike rack for me, so I could van to work (with my bike in tow) and bike home. It's a great work out! Now that the weather is bad and gas prices are down...I thought about dropping the van and using the gym at work again, but we'll see. I might be buying a home further from work soon, so I will need to van pool for sure. It'll be 30 min to work and up to an hour home. If I van pool it'll shave at least 15 minutes on the commute home. Gotta love car pool lanes in rush hour!

HOV lanes are a HUGE incentive to car pool.

Thanks for those sites! :flowerforyou: I'll have to check them out. I did the usual Walmart and Walgreens and KodakGallery, and so far, I have been highly UNimpressed with their photo card designs this year.

My husband works for the Walgeens distribution center here & they give us a crazy discount on their cards this time of year, but they're not my style. I'd more of a simple, elegant design chick instead of a Peanuts or Tweety Bird girl. My kids are characters enough, they don't need any help. LOL

People are PIGS.
To trample an employee.
Poor guy was only 34, so having a heart attack at that age, I wonder if there weren't other genetic/health dispositions that led to his early demise...
