Oh FFS the thread was clearly and obviously started as a light hearted,fun,friendly and supportive way to compliment folks that have worked hard to better themselves.
To try to turn it into some moralistic,judgmental drama is just plain stupid.
Get a life,live and let live and don`t worry about things that on the Internet have no affect on you.
Walk your own path and seek your own happiness,it makes living a hell of a lot simpler.

I am engaged and take my commitment very seriously, I am done looking for my mate (doesn't not mean I can't enjoy the eye candy)
And I did not get from the original post that everyone was looking to flirt and hookup. It seemed to me to be a lighthearted observation of the hotties on the site.

I'm so glad you were able to see that is what I was saying all along. I'm not sure why I was attacked for trying to support a different viewpoint, but c'est la vie. Being happy with our lives and our choices is all that really matters as long as it doesn't hurt anyone else.
Sorry if you felt attacked. I think people got on the defensive because it seemed like you were chastising an innocent observation (at first).

Wow, I must be dead and didn't realize it, or I'm mentally ill (okay, maybe slightly insane but that's neither here nor there)... I too, only have eyes for my hubby. If I admire anybody's body, it's not with lustful eyes, it's more of a "wow they are really in shape" admiration with a hint of envy, and a dash of motivation to get myself there one day. I'm not blind, but I see people with different eyes, I guess. Example, Passed a shirtless male jogger yesterday while driving... my thoughts didn't go to jumping his bones, but to his determination to be out jogging in the middle of the afternoon... and I'd skipped my workout that morning, I should show more determination if I ever expect to see results...

Nobody is being attacked. But if they post comments that are "tut tutting" and wagging their finger at people that do flirt then they can expect to have comments made back.

i was in no way attacking anyone for their difference of oppinion! I listed this under fun and games for the simple fact that life is too serious and sometimes we need to step back and "smell the roses" so to speak. i know i work very hard on my fitness and have gone from being an asthmatic and all around sick person my entire adult life and due to my seriousness in my goals, i just completed a 1/2 Triathlon and am down 2 medications for my asthma. and on top of that, i have only had a small cold since i started this journey this past December, so if you feel i started this topic for the wrong reason im very sorry. the fact is that it is very encouraging to see friends push their limits and fitness goals to new levels and that means their bodies look better also, as well as their mental clarity. There are some that are here for the simple purpose of looking and saying crude things, but not me!! and i dont put friends like that on my list! I know for a fact that had it not been for the encouragement of my awesome friends, i would not have finished my Tri, and now have the goal of a full Tri and an Iron Man next year. So thank you to all my awesomely sweet, sexy male and female friends!!0

Unbelievable. After decades of being objectified in this country I can't belive in 2011 we aren't treated equally, as cognizant beings with intelligent things to say and personalities.
