    Umm... I don't remember specifically, but the first CD I bought myself with birthday money was Savage Garden's US debut. haha

    My very first CD purchase was Aerosmith's Greatist Hits and Eagles Greatest Hits - purchased at the same time. :)

    It was the "NO!" album from They Might Be Giants. My brother bought it for me. Specially formulated for the chronologically challenged community. All kids music, all the time.

    Honestly....considering I was only 5, the Lion King soundtrack....haha

    The lion King Had a pretty decent soundtrack. Elton John and Tim Rice make a great songwriting team.
