The lion King Had a pretty decent soundtrack. Elton John and Tim Rice make a great songwriting team.
i had the lion king soundtrack in 6th grade...lol...HANUKA MATA-TA!
  • Backstreet Boys. I remember buying it with the money I earned as a kid. I admit I can still jam out to them if my ipod shuffles it on...

however, I knew I should've picked the Pink Floyd album because I LOVE them MUCH more than any band!

Hmm...I can go a few steps further on this (don't judge me!):

First CD: Def Leppard - Hysteria
    First cassette tape: Heart (self-titled)
First record (music only): Oingo Boingo (self-titled)
First record (any): Disney’s Thrilling Chilling Sounds of the Haunted House
    First 8-track: Carpenters - Passage
First reel-to-reel: (c'mon, I'm not quite "that" old!)

My first CDs ever were Annie Lennox's "Diva" and Michael Jackson's "Off The Wall" which were gift from my parents (they picked them out for me, I had nothing to do with it) but the first CD I actually asked for myself was Hanson's "Middle Of Nowhere" in 1997.

I don't really remember b/c I was buying a bunch of CDs at one time, switching from cassettes to CDs. I'm in my 30s so I more vividly remember my first cassette.
