    Metallica Master of Puppets!!!

I believe that was their first album released on CD.

Sorry, Hoss, The first album to be released on CD was Billy Joel's 52nd Street, that reached the market alongside Sony's CD player CDP-101 on October 1, 1982 in Japan.

I said, "their" meaning Metallica's first album released in CD format.

Well, don't use a pronoun without first identifying the antecedent.

These are forums, not novels. The post that I was quoting was about Metallica, so it shouldn't be needed for that average person to understand.

I will give you that- the average person lacks a fundamental understanding of the English language.

.....wow.....I understood and knew what he meant when he said it was their first album released on CD. I don't think that makes ME lacking in the english department. My post said Metallica Master of Puppets, he then quoted that and said THEIR first release on CD. WE were talking about Metallica. I think the only thing lacking here is your social skills. Play nice please.

No big deal. This is a repeated mode of communitcation for him. That's why I was harsh on his mistake. Everyewhere he goes he acts like a *kitten*.

Pink Floyd's "The Wall." My wife knew better than to buy me my first CD player without also buying me that CD. A great Christmas present!

It was early '86. The day I bought my first CD player, I picked up three CDs: Dire Straits "Brothers In Arms," Sting "Nothing Like the Sun," and INXS "Kick".

I still listen to records on occasion, FYI.

First CD I owned when switching from cassettes was "Waterbed Hev" by Heavy D (R.I.P.)...I loved that CD so much that I remember listening to it all the way to Chicago and back on a road trip...It's in my CD player in my vehicle at this very moment!
