Sorry I'm late for Friday, hope it counts. I was under sodium, water aerobics for 90 minutes and did 200 crunches.0
-
Hi Team,
I was under carbs today but did not do the lunges. I did weedwack for three hours today, not sure if this counts but it should!!
I have noticed that all of you are dropping weight like crazy, GOOD JOB!!! I think my enemy is stress and stereo eating! I have been craving greasy, high calorie food. Hopefully life will calm down soon. Any ideas on how to deal with the cravings would be great.0 -
sat - no points. friends over and no choice in foods.
sun- i'll be back later.............need to overcome the above.
stephanie - thanks for starting a new thread. !
tara - i crave fat a ton. the only thing that seems to help my cravings is adding good fats into my diet. almonds and cooking in olive oil are my favorites. (i dont care much for the deep sea type fish). Both are high in calories but very healthy for you in reasonable quantities. Then again...i'm not the one posting big numbers lol.0 -

I lost 4.2 pounds this week...but thats AFTER being stagnant for 3 weeks and then gaining last week! I too was craving (and indulging in) the high calorie greasy stuff. I kept kicking myself for not doing better...but one thing I did do is keep exercising. For some reason this week my cravings did break and I was able to stick to a plan! But the consistency with activity is what I think didn't send me on a gaining spin!
Its encouraging to remember that this is a MARATHON and not a SPRINT....and Thank God (especially with those of us with alot to lose)!
Love These Chats Ladies!0 -
Thanks for the help!!!0
-
ok stephanie, i stepped backed up to the plate today with a marathn for me!

Today is a rest day right? If not, all I did was drank 13 cups of water. I spent time out with my family. I did some research and lowered my calories by 200 starting tomorrow. I will be exercising 60 min a day at least with my cousin and switching from a gym to water aerobics. I am not sure what else to do to drop the weight like all of you. If you have any recommendations let me know.0
-
stephanie- great workout! no preference on rest day even if you make it sunday. i blew sat so i need to stay good the rest of the week.
@tara- the rest day can float....but your assumption would have been the logical one. i looked through your diary etc and here's my thoughts on some possibilities if it might help.
weight loss- looks like you are losing 1-2 lbs week? if so, that is actually considered a good healthy weight loss rate.
exercise - are you using a heart rate monitor or the mfp rates? for me the mfp rats are pretty consistantly twice what i actually burn off.
food - the calories do not look bad as is. but i don't see sugar or sodium listed in your selections. overages in either can inhibit weight loss. i suspect your sodium intake is high....restaurants load their food with it.
........ also i would add some more fresh greens/vegtables....the more i add the better i seem to do anyway.0 -
It seems that everyone else is losing a bunch more weight than me.
I do not use a heart rate monitor due to the fact I am only doing water aerobics. I do have one so when we start going to the gym, I will use it. I try to stay away from fruits because of the sugar. I am afraid it will create the sweet cravings again. I try to do veggies often, but I will add more. Thank you for taking the time to help me.0 -

Today For Me:
Under Sodium
50 WoodChops
60 Min Of Zumba
10 Min Of JumpRope
How Was Your Day Ladies?!?!!0 -
You all are so awesome! Thanks for taking the lead, Stephanie. I am really sorry that I have been missing. Things have been busy around here...the kids are starting school this week and it seems to be a scramble to get as much summer in as possible in the last few days. My food has not been as good as it should have been, but I have been hiking and walking more! This last Thursday, I walked over 5.5 miles! Wow! But, I know...I dropped the ball. Don't hesitate to call me out on it...that's one reason why I joined this challenge...I need someone to hold me accountable.
I haven't read through the thread yet, but I will be doing that later this evening and getting our points turned in. Thank you for keeping on without me! :-)0 -
So Happy To See You Misty!!!!0
-
Under calories, no sodium and 75 min of water aerobics with 100 woodchops. Drinking tons of water too.0
-
Misty! glad to see you back!
mon: under sodium, forgot woodchops . extra: 60 minutes jog/walk=3 miles. wow on your 5.5!0 -
It seems that everyone else is losing a bunch more weight than me.
i've felt that way...only pound a week on average for me. But in 5.5 months it's now 24 pounds total. (started before mfp). it adds up even if your metabolism is slower than some others0 -
I am going to try to be on track today.. dealing with alot of personal issues and trying to get back to it..0

Ladies...
Completely Blew It Today and I'm Sorry!!!
Nutrition - Blew It
Exercise Challenge - Blew It (Copped out doing them because of my hurt hip)
Other Exercise - Only 20 Minutes of Punches and Kicks
I Started Out Great...But It Turned Into A Stressful Day, Got Some News I Didn't Anticipate....So Eating Sounded Great At The Time...And Not Going To Zumba Sounded Even Better...
SOOOOO MAD AT MYSELF....I love Zumba and I let the old me creep back in to have a pity party for myself (I used to be sooo good at those). And it reminded me of a quote I saw on here: "I NEVER REGRET IT WHEN I DO...I ALWAYS REGRET IT WHEN I DON'T!!!"
I've already packed my lunch and everything for tomorrow and will be heading to bed soon (getting up at 1:30am for work). I will be better tomorrow!
Again...Sorry...& I LuvYa Ladies0 -
Was under carbs and calories today, did 100 lying abductions and worked out in a gym for 60 minutes doing cardio. I have to say it is easier to do water aerobics, more calories burn in the same amount of time and it is cooler!
Sunday's work best for me for a rest day.0 -
Good morning.. I was not under carbs and but I was able to get 100 lying abductions in and walked 20 minutes0
-
I just read the post from everyone else- Makinmoves it happens and we just have to pick up the next day.. IF only I could practice what I preach lol This whole routine thing for school is KILLING me.. so much to do, staying out at the ball fields with childrens activities and then having to throw something together for supper= late nights and CAN'T get up early after that.
I really haven't been tracking my food as some of the choices haven't been great... not terrible though..
Thanks for the welcome back - all of you are awesome!!0 -
rest day - i didn't see anyone else's thoughts, but will 2nd tata's sunday choice.
yep - everyone has a bad day or week sometimes. last night i collapsed under the simple fact i found seafood newburg in the freezer. no good excuse at all......certaintly there was no reason i just had to have it then. did stay under carbs but blew calories and salt to smeethereens.
but tring to be back on track this am...........0 -
Ok Ladies...I'm Back On Track!
Nutrition - Under Calories
Exercise - 50 Tricep Lifts
60 Minutes Of Circuit Training
How Did You Guys Do Today?:flowerforyou:0 -
Today I was under calories, did 50 tricep lifts and water aerobics for 70 minutes.
Question for you all:
Is it true than if you reduce your calories more than 500 a day, your body will go into starvation mode and store the calories? I had a friend tell me this and I am wondering because I am now only eating 1400 calories a day which is 1000 less than the 2400 I should eat in order to maintain.
I really enjoy the support and well as the discussions. Thanks for help!!0
