I really don't understand the open relationship... to each their own, of course, I don't care what happens in other people's bedrooms... but i still don't get how that manages to work out over a 50+ year marriage.

What gets me is the number of people in "open relationships" or even swingers who are people I wouldn't want to have sex with if you covered their faces with paper bags and wrapped us both in plastic.

You are a kinky little minx aren't you :)

Only if it gets me some of those dirty messages Corn gets.

Why is that??? Most times I see the creepiest scary people saying they are "swingers" (people that posted on this thread aside ) Who are these people having the sex with?? Or is it just wishful thinking?

I know this girl who's parents are nudists...she doesn't shower often  Makes me wonder if the reason they are nudists is because they are lazy about personal hygiene and don't want to do laundry?

    EEEEWWWW!!!

I actually have friends who are nudists. They are at least clean and keep their nudist tendencies to the proper venues. :-)

Open Relationships - Magical concepts :)
I currently prefer not being in a relationship at all though and free to enjoy the company of any man (or woman) I choose. for as often and as long as i choose.
I've always said - sex is easy, relationships are hard. Monogamous or no.
I don't think all humans are hardwired for monogamy, but I believe it must be possible for SOMEONE out there. I just haven't met anyone like that.

Oh and (i know i'll get hate mail for this) but to all you ladies who have been married for 10, 20, 30 years??? have you ever considered that it might be BECAUSE of a fling or one nighter every now and then that your marriage has stayed strong? I've entertained the company of many a married man in various situations (not all sexual) and some of them will admit they'd rather have a fwb or one nighter now and then than cheat on their wife. it's known in some circles as "emotional fidelity" and in my opinion, it's the most important kind.

There are men who really rationalize and believe that having sex with another woman isn't cheating only because it's a one night stand?

    Seriously?
