Bacon & Chocolate??

Since MFP is represented by quite a few countries around the world, I am on a quest to find some odd food combinations. What are your favorites? Healthy or not. Some examples include; Bacon & chocolate, potato chips & frosting...

If you don't have a favorite odd combo, what is your favorite dessert?

In your part of the world, what is the most common sweet treat?

I appreciate everyone's feedback!

Not sure how odd this is, but I love to add jelly to my scrambled eggs. I think it's just a "me" thing and just my weird stuff.

I also am curious as to what other odd things everyone eats....

Not really what you're looking for, but when I was little I used to go to a diner with my family and get chocolate chip pancakes with tomato juice to drink. It grossed everyone out. I could probably still stomach it but I'm not sure I'd really have a desire to.

Some people think I am crazy when I do this. I eat syrup on smothered potatoes...And almost everyone in my family does too.

This one only applies to macdonalds, but I like to dip my fries in my strawberry milkshake... My sister and I started doing it when we were still in the ingle digits and it's just stuck. I think we were playing the I can do better than you game....

hmmm some very strange combos here but I gues we all have our little peculiararities, I always liked eating a bite of kitkat with a ready salted crisp, thats my strangest apart from pregnancy cravings and the weirdest one i had there was probably a pack of cashew nuts on bread and butter...pure heaven but not much different from a peanut butter sandwich I guess (I wont eat peanut butter sandwiches tho!)

I like salted popcorn, which is normal in the states, but here (germany) is fairly unheard, and makes some of my friends actually gag.

Sweet treat here: lots of cakes, and pastries... eaten everyday at 4 pm with coffee. It makes watching calories hard. :)

Edit: Grossest mix- tuna, corn and raw onion... makes me want to hurl. friends here eat that. (and i'm sure others do too!)

Oh yes, cheese and jam sandwiches, or cheese, jam and shortbread biscuits - yum. My sons like bacon and apricot jam on toast, cheese and peanut butter sandwiches.

My friend likes sugar on buttered toast for a hangover:sick: and salty crisps with a snickers bar

Not that I have had them but Scotland is obviously famed for deep fried mars bars, deep fried creme eggs etc the thought makes me want to gag actually, but I know a few people who have had them and said they were nice! (Eldest son included - just the once though!)

I love to mix ranch and buffalo sauce and dip everything in it! Fries, fake chicken, vegetables, anything!

When I was little I would make salami, peanut butter, jelly, and cheeto sandwiches.

I am also a fan of fries in my frosty!

My dad made us fall in love with BLT bacon lettuce tomatoe sandwiches but instead of the common may condiment we use peanut butter.
