    Today I did the windshield wipers, the presses and the 21's. For some reason I also did 50 crunches-I guess it's getting to be a habit. I can add 2 more to that on a daily basis for the team challenge.

    I also had a really stressful day and instead of eating it away, I went outside and did jumping jacks! I got in 25 before my knees really started screaming. I was really angry and didn't pay attention to the discomfort as long as I could. I think a better workout bra would be helpful here too!

    Anyway, I was also over on my water and under on my calories today.

    I will do everything I can to get the extra miles in for the team. My sister had a bone graft done today (she's doing well) but she will need care and transportation to the doctors this week. The jumping jacks as a commitment will be tough, as they are painful, but I will do my best.

    I don't know if this will count but I did 50 squat kicks doe the 50 up/downs last week.... I know it's late :cry:

    75 crunches - CHECK (these are easier for me than the sit ups I was doing last week on my sit up board!)

    Later in the week we are told to do 2 sets of 15 swimmers presses again, so I "assumed" thats how many we were to do tonight...

    @ SarahRuth - I will find out what we can substitute for the windshield wipers for you.... can you do them part of the way (to each side) without going ALL the way down?? perhaps you could modify if like that somehow?? Let me know what you think. Meantime, I'll check with Gary.

    As of this post, we have the following PLEDGED for this week:

    Monday (Day1):
    water -- 12 and counting
    calories - under
    exercise: windshield wipers --done (ouch!!); swimmer's presses -- I did butterfly presses due to rotator problems; will do 21's tomorrow (ran out of time as I had to take my son to his football game).
    Challenge exercise: completed 100 jumping jacks and 50 ab-crunches; also an extra mile (I walked 2.5 miles around the track during the football warm-ups before his game!!)

    One of these days, I'm gonna have to pay attention to my house and kids.... LOL

    Also, our team as a whole has lost 63.9 pounds in the month of August!! I think that's pretty amazing!!

    Please make sure when doing the woodchops that you are Squatting down and not bending over. This can cause undue strain on the lower back and has the potential to harm your lower back. Your back should be straight at all times and squatting down face forward great posture!

    I had to move around some of the exercises today because I will not be at home enough to get in the global jumps and tuck jumps. I am going to make myself stay up late enough after the ballgame (minor league, surprising my son) to get in the extra crunches then I will pass out :wink:

    I plan on starting tomorrow with the tuck jumps or the global jumps.... maybe both!?

    ~2 Sets of 20 Tuck Jumps
    ~50 Squat Kicks
    ~20 Squat Kicks in place of globe jumps
    ~4 Miles to add to the team challenge (mostly walking, some running) C25k bout killed me to run tonight from 3 minute to 5 minute intervals now. WILL GET THROUGH IT!
    ~300 Ab crunches
    ~100 Jacks
    ~8 Water
    ~Under calorie goal

    Joyful . . . in . . . the . . . Journey (phew)!

    I dont remember if I checked off on Monday or not, but I did everything! And everything for today as well. Sorry not as detailed as usual, but I started back to school myself yesterday and I'm already a little overwhelmed. But I am making the time for the exercises and I'm doing my best to at least let you know I hit my goals for the day.

    i didnt get to do much of anything after work i went to a friends house whos husband died I just got back
    so i did my logging of food under calorie goal
    I had all the water
    2 sets of 20 Tuck Jumps, 50 Squat Kicks,
    20 Globe Jumps
    And i did it pretty fast so i dont think i had great form but i did sweat a little.
    I will do better tomorrow because i dont have to work. Im gonna make up for lost time.
