Hey all,
I am currently 85.9kg/189lb and am planning to be at least 70kg/154lb for christmas.
I am 165cm (5"5) and was wondering what size you wear at what weight/height so that I can go have a look-see at different shops and maybe order some clothes from ebay, but I have absolutely no idea what size I would be. At my starting weight I was 96.7kg/217lb and in 18-20 and at 85.9kg/189lb I am a size 14-16.
Any help would be appreciated Thankyou all!

I weigh 180, I fit comfertably into a size 12-13, Although my size 12 pants I have on now are beginning to become loose...0

5'8" 132 lbs
A two or a four.0 -
This is so individualized.
But at my high weight, starting weight, 168 I was wearing tight 8s heading toward 10 (US).
Now, at 151 I am wearing 6 and some 4s.
I am 5'10".0 -
5'4" & 122 pounds - I wear a size 4 or 6. I have some hips on me!0

At 174lbs, I was a UK14-16/US10-12 - on the bottom, which is the only sizing I pay attention to and at 150lbs I was a UK12/US8-10. At 130lbs, I'm a UK10/US7.
I was at around 32% body fat at 174lbs, 28% at 150lbs and 26% at 130lbs. I'm 5'2", so a bit shorter than you. I'm thinking you might want to look at sizes 8-12? That seems to be the trend you're heading for, although of course things will vary from shop to shop. Good luck!0 -
I'm 195 right now and 5'5". I wear a 14/16. I'm almost comfortably in a 14, they're still a little too tight, but the 16s are too big.0

I am 187lbs and 6'2 I wear a size 14.0

at 5'5" and 122 pounds I wear a 1 or a 2. at 132 pounds I wore a 4. and at my low weight, which I am working on getting to, I will be 112-115 pounds and a 0-1. hope it helps.0

i'm 5'5", 155lbs and fit comfortably into a 6 from most stores.0

slightly under 5'9
Weight: 217 (last time I weighed myself, at the beginning of the month - could be slightly less or more?)
I wear a size 16 comfortably.0 -
190lbs, 5"8, size 120

5'4 155 lbs and i wear a size 100

I'm 5'9, 215, and wear a size 14/16, though the 16s are starting to get really loose.0

5'3 and 166 lbs. I am in a size 10/12 bottoms and M/L tops.
I agree that size is individualized. A lot has to do with body composition (muscle v. fat).0 -

Yeah, this is where height makes a big difference. At 168 (and 5'5") I was wearing tight 12's, and a few 14's. Now at 148 I am wearing 10's but most of them are still snug.0 -
I am 5'2, 171.2lbs and in a 10, which are getting very loose. So I'd say a loose 8?0

At my starting weight, 5'5" and 197lbs I wore a size 14/16 (US). Now, at 162.5 lbs I wear a size 8/10 (US).0

5'4"- 144lbs i comfortably wear a size 4 or 6 depending on the brand
when i was 150-155lbs I was wearing size 6 or loose-fitting size 8
i can wear small tops now too, before i had to wear medium or large
i agree it also depends on your body composition & where you carry most of your weight(hips, butt, chest, etc)
good luck!:flowerforyou:0 -
I'm 5'7", 174lbs and I wear about a 14-16. (my dress pants I wear to work every day are a 15)0

I'm 5'3" and weigh 185lbs and in a size 18, loose. Size 16's are still too tight (muffin top even when pants stretch out from fresh wash). I'm also short waisted so I have to find pants to fit my big hips. When I was weighing 130-135lbs, I was in a size 5/6. Huge part of this is going to depend on what type of muscle mass you have. In excellent shape, with muscle tone, I've been a size 3 and weigh 140lbs. However, any muscle loss and still wear a 3 then I look anorexic and my lbs definately dropped. I prefer to have muscle mass (I do have three boys and family ranch).0

What I've noticed is that people who may weigh the same as I do, wear a totally different size. Plus, the size charts on websites often do work for me either. The inches on the site may say I'd be in a size 20 (US) but really I'm a size 18 (US).
So I know I can't order pants online (shirts I can get away with).
At my lightest, 135 lbs, 5'4" tall, I wore a 6-8 (US)
Now I'm 205 lbs and I wear a size 16 - 18 (US).
But my body makeup is compact and muscular (not including the fat :-) ), so clothes fit differently on me than others.
What I do is shop in bargain, thrift, and consignment stores to find clothes and I usually don't buy anything until I've actually gone down (or up) in size.
I've tried the I'll buy it and hope to fit in it soon thing, and that just ends up being too much pressure for me. But I'm a sensitive gal. Good luck.0 -
I wouldn't buy anything in hopes that you will be able to wear it at a certain weight. I did this, I have things that I have never worn, because my body shape changed so much. I am in a smaller size now, then when I was in high school, but yet I weigh like 20 lbs more.0

I've wore the same pant size no matter what my weight!
When I weighed 142.5lbs throughout high school I wore size 13. When I weighed my highest weight at 178lbs I also wore size 13. I actually can't remember the last time I wore pants smaller than 13. My hips are baby making hips.0 -
I'm 5'6. 163lbs and I wear sizes 8-10 depending on the brand0
-
I'm around 172lbs, 5'9" and wearing a size 14/16 (UK) in trousers and a size 12 (UK) in tops0
-
I am 5'4.
At my highest weight (unknown, but probably in the high 160's ) I was wearing a size 8 from stores like (New York and co- I think their sizing runs on the larger size). I have pretty small hips though, so it was easier to fit into smaller sizes.
At my current weight range (127-132) I am wearing a solid size 4 the majority of the time. I do have a few size 2 dresses and shorts, but they are the minority.
(these are USA sizes - not UK) :ohwell:
I wish I was fitting into a UK size 2! :blushing:0 -

167lbs and wearing size 18/16 still... UGH WTF!! Some size 16 still have a huge muffin top and some 16 don't. Some size 18 are wayyyyyyyyyyyyy to loose and other size 18's fit just fine. Can't wait till I can fit into a 16 without a muffin top and a tight 14!!! CAN'T WAIT!! A-L-M-O-S-T- THERE!
When I started I was size 20/18. My size 20's are an accident waiting to happen, because they literally fall down which each step I take (I'm not complaining).0 -
I'm 5'5", weigh 199lbs I wear a loose 14, skin tight 12. It depends on the persons shape and muscle mass. I have a big butt, small waist, not a lot of stomach. I was reading the post and every wears something different thats the same height and weight as me.0
-
I agree that this is very individual!
I'm 5'6'', weigh about 147 pounds, and am a US size 12-14 (depending on the brand). I am pear-shaped, so my larger hips determine my pants size.0 -
I weigh 137, wear a size 6. i'm 5'5 1/2"0
