Do you understand the difference between indulgence (wine) and doing something for your health (juicing)? Of course you do because you're not an idiot.

I wouldn't diss wine as lacking in health benefits. There is plenty of scientific support for consumption of wine. Again, it's about the antioxidants (and also about the dose, of course). Sorry to disappoint you, out your glass a day is not just an indulgence!

I enjoy my glass of wine just as much as anybody else, but trying to say that you don't do anything that your body hasn't "evolved" to do like drinking juice, but you'll drink wine is just plain crazy-talk!

Why is it so difficult to make myself understood here? I did NOT say that I don't do anything that my body hasn't evolved to do. I said that I do not adopt practices specifically for health benefits that do not make sense from an evolutionary perspective. I don't know how to be any clearer. I exercise regularly and try to eat a natural and wholesome diet. Does that mean I never eat anything bad for me? Of course not.

Yes, I know wine, especially red, has health benefits, but that is not why I drink it. I drink it because I like it.

I feel like people are purposely coming down on me for some reason. I don't think what I'm saying is all that hard to understand.
