I am so behind! I was unable to run for 6 days due to fever and tendonitis in my foot...SUCKS!!
I got in 7 last Monday and 7 today and it was hard hard hard!
Will see what the rest of the week brings...

Thought I'd get here sooner, but finally hit the 100mile mark this morning (101 miles to be exact!)
<If you count elliptical, adaptive motion trainer, and biking miles, I'm at 250+>0 -

Well I'm short of the 100, but am planning to get in a 6mile run tomorrow - it's my first club Pub Run - so that will take my total for September up to just over 72 miles.
I'm really pleased with that, considering I only started running on 23 May this year!!

nice work everyone that's made it to 100 or beyond!! I will make it to 100 but it will probably come this weekend, a day or 2 late, which I feel well enough about considering I had to take a 6 day running break last week on account of some knee pain and swelling. This was a fun challenge and motivated me to run a few times this month when I otherwise would've called it a rest day or done some other sort of exercise. Again, great work! 2 days to go for those that are close to making 100!!!0

I fell short- but I loved the challenge. I knew I would have to walk a lot in between running days, and it didn't happen.
Even still- I kicked butt at my 5k today.

I started my next ticker for October, I am keeping mine so far for September. Has anyone started a new 100 mile thread - I liked the challenge and it kept me motivated?0

Great job everyone, and a really big congrats to the ladies of our group, because by % we had more women then men complete the challenge. I could not be more proud of the work we put in this month, and really want to thank all of you for digging in and giving your best. In the end the challenge was much more about pushing ourselves then it was about completing 100 miles, but of course for those of us who completed it have an extra reward.
Let's get some type of October challenge started, and let's continue to give our best every day. -- I will commit to at least 50 miles in October, and will also commit to completing my weight training or cross training. -- If you have an idea for a challenge along those lines, PLEASE send me a email to invite me (or just post on my profile).
