Hey all,
I just did week 1 - day 1 of the hundred push-up challenge and my wrists are killing me. Is that normal or what am I doing wrong??

    If your wrists hurt while using your palms for support, you can switch to doing push-ups on your closed fist (knuckles). You can then lock the wrist with the fist directly below it, rather than bending your wrist 90 degrees for the palm.

    Note that you should stick to padded carpets/rugs at first for knuckle push-ups.

    Im curious about the push-up challenege...is there a link somewhere so i can read more about it?

    I do pushups now but mostly on my knees:blushing: ....i can do a small amount on my toes.:ohwell:

    I have heard of other women having problems with their wrists. I only had problems with mine when I did them on soft carpet. I hope that someone has some answers for you!

    Okay, so I am doing mine on the carpet! I don't get my mat until christmas, so I thought the carpet would be the better choice! I guess I was wrong..... I will try them on Wednesday on the floor and see if that helps - thanks. :smile:

    I started the challenge last week. My left wrist hurt so much. But now this week it's ok, I'm hoping it just had to get use to a new thing.
