Hey ladies! I'm so sorry; I've been a bit scattered with week -- augh!

QOTD (8/31): Do you think you'd want to lose weight if we lived in a society where obesity was generally considered more attractive than being fit?

I think it would depend on how I felt when I was doing things -- like activities with my kids, etc. If I couldn't keep up with them I would probably want to lose weight, but I don't know that I would fight to be fit.

QOTD (9/01): The worst thing I ever did as a child..... Hmmm, I didn't lose my mind until I went to college, so I was pretty boring as a child. I guess it would be that I didn't stand up for others (or even myself) until I was older.

QOTD 9/1/2011: What is the worst thing you ever did as a child?

I almost started a fire in my house. I was probably 9 or 10 and I had a friend sleep over. We wanted to make a tent at night, so we draped a blanket over a lamp... without the lampshade on. And since it was dark, we needed light, so of course the lamp was on & the sheet caught fire. Nothing else was hurt, except my fanny after momma got a hold of me

The worst thing I ever did as a child was when I was about 10 yrs of age and I stole 20 bucks from my moms purse and I bought 20 ice-creams that was a buck each and ate it all like there was no other day left LOL ... so not proud but never again I did such a thing :)

I don't really recall doing super bad stuff, I was pretty intimidated by my mom LOL. I do remember stealing a peanut from the grocery store when I was about 4 yrs old. Of course it had something to do with food and eating!!!! I'm sure as I got older there was some pretty naughty stuff, but this is just stands out for me this morning.

I broke my moms fav necklace and blamed it on my sis :)

QOTD 9/2/2011: If you had the money to spend, would you get lipo?

I totally would!!! I would get my thighs and stomach fat sucked out using lipo. I HATE my thighs!

QOTD- Have you set up a mini-goals and rewards system for yourself? If so, what are those goals and rewards?

My goals are each 10 pounds but have no rewards,

QOTD 9/1/2011: What is the worst thing you ever did as a child?
um - put sand in my brothers ear?

QOTD 9/2/2011: If you had the money to spend, would you get lipo?

QOTD 9/1/2011: What is the worst thing you ever did as a child?
I am the oldest child and i used to always make my little bro ask for treats and permission from my parents because I thought he had a better chance of getting what he wanted. And, if they said no, they would scold him instead of me. Lol.

QOTD 9/2/2011: If you had the money to spend, would you get lipo?
Yes, I would choose to take the fat from my back and middle. Unfortunately, I'm blessed with an apple shape body. However, I'm extremely queasy when it comes to surgical procedures, so I"m not sure if I could actually go through with the lipo.

    Welcome sistermooooon :)
  • QOTD 9/1/2011: What is the worst thing you ever did as a child?

ummm ...I remember stealing some candy from a store that was by my bus stop so I could sell it to actually buy candy. I got caught.

QOTD 9/2/2011: If you had the money to spend, would you get lipo?

No. I watched the procedure on TV once and every time I think about it, I get a little green.

QOTD 9/2/2011: If you had the money to spend, would you get lipo?

No but I would get other plastic surgery done (tummy tuck, boob lift and reduction)

I'd consider it on my arms because I hate them, only if they took the crap skin as well. Everything else, meh, I can hide, arms not so easily. I'd probably have laser surgery on my eyes first though.

QOTD 9/1/2011: What is the worst thing you ever did as a child?

Hmm, that's a tough one.. I was a pretty mischievious child.. My friend and I went to the camp ground down the road from my house, and we flooded out all the bathroom stalls with loads of toilet paper.. Needless to say they were pretty pissed, but never found out it was us..

QOTD 9/2/2011: If you had the money to spend, would you get lipo?

I think if I had lost all the weight I could, but still had problem areas, then yes, but if not, then no.. I would on the other hand get a tummy tuck when I lose the weight if I have loose skin.. It would also get rid of my stretch marks..

QOTD 9/2/2011: If you had the money to spend, would you get lipo?

Yep, already have...TWICE! I had lipo done on my back, butt, hips, abdomen, and chin. I've also endured a tummy tuck as well as a breast reduction w/ lift. The breast reduction w/ lift and lipo I would do all over again! Totally worth it! The tummy tuck however wasn't meant for me, I now sport a pretty nasty scar from it too. Not to say it wouldn't benefit other women, or that I regret it...I don't! It just wasn't what I had imagined.

I gained a large amount of my weight after my last liposuction..so never really got to enjoy the results. I'm starting to see them now..and trust me...I'm THRILLED!

  • Hello peeps, how is everyone doing today?

QOTD 9/1/2011: What is the worst thing you ever did as a child?

I was usually quite well behaved. The worst thing I did was say to one of my best friends after she was nasty to me was 'at least I'm not fat' I've never forgotten that and from the moment I said it I felt really bad. I always feel I deserved to be fat after saying something so horrid.

QOTD 9/2/2011: If you had the money to spend, would you get lipo?

I would think about it, but I would probably end up spending the money on a personal trainer and perhaps a chef to cook all my meals, but I guess it would depend on how much money I had. Either way I'd defo get a personal trainer.

QOTD 9/2/2011: If you had the money to spend, would you get lipo?

Heck Yeah. My tummy is jiggly, as well as my inner thighs. Not sure they will ever get firm enough to make me happy. Hell, why stop there. I am already saving for the boob job once I reach my goal. OOPS, I should have listed that as a goal/ reward a few days ago. I am tired of losing the girls but not my hips or gut. They are the only things consistantly losing inches.

    Hey all,
so today is my Question Of The Day and the question is ....

How many days a week do you workout, and do you take days off? Is it beneficial to take days off?

    I exercise 7 days a week.

I exercise 4 - 5 days a week right now but plan on stepping it up to a solid 5 maybe 6 a week - I have to be careful because I am nursing a serious back problem - (

It varies week to week depending on what I have going on socially, but if I don't do concerted exercise I try to walk a bit more that day.

I find that if I have a big day coming up - eg out climbing on hills all day on a Saturday - having a rest day Friday leaves my legs feeling more fresh. Other than that - if you're doing cardio you don't need a rest day. Weights is a whole different story. You do need to listen to your body and take it easy if you're tired or sick.
  • QOTD: How many days a week do you workout, and do you take days off? Is it beneficial to take days off?

I try to work out every day no matter what. I know that people have schedules 5 days on, 2 days off or 6 days on, 1 day off - that might work for men but it doesn't work for me. I have all sorts of hormonal stresses going on during the month, cramps, heavy periods (sorry) and sometimes I physically cannot workout -

so I say why bother taking a day off when I'm ok to workout? So I try to workout everyday and if I feel off or whatever I take a break. That way I don't beat myself up for not following the 'schedule' when I have women's stuff to contend with!

People say its beneficial to take days off because you give your body a rest and you get stronger the next time you workout. This may be true but I usually feel groggy if I miss out on a workout.

    Hey ladies!

9/2 QOTD - If you had the money to spend would you get lipo?
Maybe, but only if they could shoot into my boobs some of whatever they suck out. Since losing weight I've lost some in the "girl's" department :(!

9/3 QOTD - How many days a week do you workout, and do you take days off? Is it beneficial to take days off?
I try to work out 6 days a week -- 2 days heavy cardio (zumba), 3 days cardio/strenght training with weights, and a day of either yoga or pilates. I do take a day off because I believe that my body needs a day to rest and repair muscles, etc. I see the difference in my work out after I take a day off. That's not to say I'm not active on my day off -- I'm just not at the gym doing a prescribed work out.

Same here. I try to work out every day that I can. There will always be days that I can't fit in a workout, for whatever reason. Those days default as my "rest" day.

I will try to loose everything I can on my own 1st and if I still got no result then admittedly I would :)

QOTD: How many days a week do you workout, and do you take days off? Is it beneficial to take days off?

I work out 4 to 5 times weekly and usually take my weekend off ..sometimes Friday as well as I totally get exhausted. I know my body needs rest because I do everything else around the house daily so taking days off really does help me ...Monday morning am back with a BANG and definitely feel more energized as I have rested well ..

Okay. I admit it. I'd get lipo in a heartbeat!

I am bootilicious and I do NOT love it. The booty and thighs don't seem to dwindle no matter how much i lose :(
  • QOTD 9/2/2011: If you had the money to spend, would you get lipo?

Right now, I would not, since I'm no where near my goal weight. But I'll be 40 in Feb. and I'm noticing gravity has definitely had an effect on things. I wouldn't have lipo because I cringe and turn away from the TV everytime I see a lipo surgery in progress and how the doctor rams that big long stick under your skin and jabs it back and forth. UGHHHH! BUT....I would almost consider a boob lift. Not enlargement, but lift. :)

I try to workout 4 days a week and take off 3. It is beneficial to me because I really hate to workout so if I did it every day I would get tired of it and quit all together.

My goal is 6 days a week. This past week I only went in twice :o( The week before I hit it hard 5 days. I have 1 more week of my 8 week long class, then I will be gymless unless I sign up for another round or join the gym. I know I can't do it all on my own, so will have to do something. Will wait though till we get back from vacation.

I work out 5-6 days a week and 2-3 of those are two-a-days. MWS - Biking (1-2 hours), TTHS - Lap swimming (1 hour) and walk (1-1.5 hours).
