I noticed a tone in my legs at 10lbs but I didn't start getting compliments from other until I reached 20lbs. With 20lb loss I treated myself to some new clothes and I think that has caused people to notice more. Hang in there and good luck.0

As you can see from my ticker, I haven't lost much of anything. One of my coworkers swears that she can tell a difference. Perhaps I've tightened up a bit, but I haven't lost much weight.0

after the 1st 20-30lbs people will start to notice0

People started noticing around 15 pounds, but only a few folks. Mostly, those who didn't see me a lot. It wasn't until I hit about 20 lbs that most of my coworkers and family noticed.0

I've lost about 60lbs and still can't see it. I think in some instances it's mind over matter and unfortunately I still see myself as 60lbs heavier. But like everyone else has said 20-30lbs was when everyone really started to notice. don't lose faith! keep at it!0

I've lost 24lbs and have juuust noticed my clothes been a tiny bit baggy. But when I look in the mirror, I don't see a single change!
It gets super frustrating, but hang in there!0 -
I recently went from about 220 to 211. I couldn't see a difference until I compared some old and new pictures. Its subtle, but it's there!0

I started at 227 and people started noticing once I hit about 200.0

I lost about 24 pounds, my clothes fit much looser that's for sure especially in my lower half, however I can't notice anything yet i've gotten several comments telling me I lost a significant amount. It's also strange that i've been told my stomach has gotten smaller yet this morning I tried on some old dresses from 3 years ago and it fits the exact same as it did then and I was at least 30 pounds heavier. I don't know if it's because we're always tougher on ourselves so it's harder to detect things from our point of view vs an outsiders, but just be proud that you've lost either way better to be down then up even if it's by 10.0

I can see a difference, but more importantly I can feel a difference. I painted my toes and it was the first time I was able to do that with any accuracy in a long, long time! LOL
I have probably lost a size or two but Im still too nervous to try on my "skinnier" clothes (I have a range of about 4 sizes in my closet..ugh). So I just keep pulling up my pants and wearing belts for now. Soon you will start seeing a difference, I am sure.
I think I noticed a difference after about 20 lbs. I started at 215.6 lbs.
Good luck!0 -
i had a few people notice the difference now at an 18 lbs weight loss. I don't see it yet..from previous experience for me.. i have to lose 20 lbs to go down a size.0

Sometimes other people are hesitant to say anything... for whatever reason- not wanting to hurt feelings, or knowing that acknowledging another's loss makes them have to look at themselves. Keep it up though! You will notice a difference eventually. Taking pictures every 4-6 weeks is a great way to really see the weight loss.0

I have ONLY lost 20 lbs this whole year but my inches are going. I would look at me in the mirror the rolls and the tiger marks from my son and see no improvement. I put on a dress that was "just right" when I was 20 lbs heavier and it now has a few inches loser where it was tight. It is hard but trying on those close you bought because your wardrobe shrunk over night now after you dropped a few you can tell the difference, some where and soon you will be able to shop you closet for those items that "shrunk on you weeks/months/years ago.0

I have lost 31lb now and I dont have to pull my feet up to the side to put buckled shoes on - I can lean down and do it! It feels fab xx0

i think im like you i was 205 to start and i really didnt look like i weighed over 200 pounds i have always caried my weight very well you may have more muscul mass to make you weigh more and i started to tell a diffrence at the 10 pound mark i think it just depends on how much weight you have to take off.... and some one told me the other day most people wont say wow your loosing weight because there jelious and when people see your doing so good they want to compete with you and i think thats very true0

I've lost 17 lbs, and no one has noticed yet. But we just recently moved so I don't see a lot of people who might be able to tell.
We won't be going home again, I don't think, anyway, for 7 more weeks. Hopefully by then I'll be 30 lbs down and people might notice then!0 -
how long did it take you to lose 11 pounds??
its been about a month and half0 -
I was once told by a dietician that sometimes people dont look like theres been a change until 50lbs (WTH?!). I have lost nearly 40lbs and I think I notice around 25lbs. I noticed more so in the way my clothes fit but now that I look at before and after pictures I think WHOA because there's definitely a difference, lol. Keep putting the work in and you'll notice for sure.0

Do comparison pictures. I have lost 21 pounds and couldn't really SEE a difference. Sure I had to get a belt, then I was belting it at smaller sizes, and even when I went down a size in pants I still couldn't really see a difference. So last night I had my husband take "after" pictures for my 21 pounds lost. Then compared them to the "before" pictures. And man, can I tell a difference when those pictures are side by side!
So, my advice would be to start taking pictures. Do it weekly, or do it every 10 or 20 pounds..but do it on a regular basis. I did these picture at about 20 pounds lost, and plan on doing every 10 pounds now.
God bless!0 -
